Laboratory Technician Cornhusker Energy Lexington, LLC has an immediate opening for a full time Laboratory Technician. A complete job description is attached: Description: Duties and Responsibilities Provide analytical support for quality control testing for a 60 MGPY ethanol plant. Interpret results and write clear, accurate reports of findings along with recommendations for improvements. Complete daily lab procedures including HPLC, Karl-Fischer moisture, pH, acidity testing. Comply with all laboratory, plant, and company safety policies and procedures. Maintain records and documentation on all projects. Maintain laboratory and all laboratory equipment. Perform other duties as assigned Requirements: B.S. Degree in Chemistry, Biology or Microbiology or have equivalent laboratory experience with emphasis on commercial testing. Familiarity with laboratory instruments, bench work and GLP regulations. Attention to detail, multi-tasking and accuracy are very important. Ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently. Ability to lift 60lbs. Hours: Normal laboratory hours are 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday Weekend shifts are required, 8:00 a.m. – laboratory report is complete Holiday rotation required.
