NOVEMBER 17–20, 2016 at the Harris Theater Hubbard Street Resident Choreographer Alejandro Cerrudo unveils his 15th original creation for the company, alongside new work by the Harris Theater’s inaugural Resident Artist, Brian Brooks, and a spellbinding pair by master choreographer Jiří Kylián: Sarabande and Falling Angels.

MARCH 16–19, 2017 at the Harris Theater Our celebration of global choreographer Nacho Duato features the long-awaited return of his exquisite Jardí Tancat, and a duet from Multiplicity. Forms of Silence and Emptiness. Lucas Crandall’s stage-filling Imprint and Crystal Pite’s stunning Solo Echo complete this international adventure.

MAY 11–14, 2017 at the MCA Stage Our third danc(e)volve: New Works Festival at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago includes the latest from Robyn Mineko Williams, just named Best Choreographer by Chicago magazine; Lucky Plush Productions artistic director Julia Rhoads, called “brainy” and “zany” by the Chicago Sun-Times; 2016 Princess Grace Choreography Fellowship awardee Penny Saunders; and 2016 International Commissioning Project choreographer Alice Klock.

JUNE 8–11, 2017 at the MCA Stage The company kicks off “Hubbard Street at 40” with a thrilling evening of audience favorites, spanning four decades of excellence in contemporary dance. Enjoy The Golden Section by Twyla Tharp, Georgia and The 40s by Lou Conte, William Forsythe’s One Flat Thing, reproduced, scenes from Resident Choreographer Alejandro Cerrudo’s One Thousand Pieces — and more.
