Jecko investigates the interconnections of our Universe through his semi-automatic explorations on paper and canvas. His depictions of various dream states attempt to flatten chronology and drag everything into a single plane; making it possible for us to find relationships and parallels the waking world does not provide. In PHIZBOOK, Jecko hyper-focuses on the familiarity of portraiture and uses it as a springboard to remember his past and hypothesize the future. We are bombarded with a plethora of faces we see both online and offline; Jecko offers a possibility of sifting through all of those and arriving at a serene and plural conclusion.
