For everyone. It’s a phrase we’ve said many times over with the hope that everyone envisions them selves in our knitwear. For this collection, we took another step forward in our ever-evolving size-inclusivity mission — one of our core prin ciples — in not only providing sizing to fit a 32” - 64” chest circumference, but showcasing our samples on people of different shapes and sizes.
In this collection you’ll find nine new heritage knitwear designs for everyone, including unisex/ menswear, women’s wear, a spectacular shawl, and unisex accessories made in our domestically sourced and produced yarns — Forge and Weld. As this is our fall collection, we’re Forge-focused, bringing you the cabled and textured knits you’ve come to expect from us with a few notable excep tions in Weld by our friends Emily Greene and Cheryl Toy.
As we enter into Autumn, the knitter’s season, we hope you see yourself or loved ones in these knits, designed to make, wear, and cherish for genera tions to come.
With love, Meghan + Sloane

Feminine, cozy, beautiful — Orla by Sloane Rosenthal is an ethereal autumn pullover, featuring simple twisting cables and openwork for stunning results. We’ve referred to this pullover as the “magic sweater” as the size 50.5” sample shown here is breathtaking on both of our radiant models, Laura and Jazzmin, whose full bust sizes are nearly 10” different. The only explanation we can come to is this sweater is literally made for everyone! Orla is made from the bottom up; the back and front are blocked and seamed, then the sleeves are picked up at the armholes and worked from the top down. Finally, the neckband is picked up and worked in the round, folded over and seamed for a stable and cozy finish for year-round wear.

Inspired by the woods and wilds of the Hudson Valley, Awen by Meghan Babin is an homage to her home. A story in stitches, this unisex pullover captures the essence of wooded trails, forest shelters and towers, and the many waterways of the Hudson River Valley.
Designed to evoke the nostalgia of camp, fall hikes, and autumnal coziness, this heritage knit is an instant classic to cherish forever. This raglan is made from the bottom up in pieces and seamed for stability and forever wear. Heavily cabled designs need the stability of seams to prevent the heavy fabric from stretching out over time.
The neckband is picked up and worked in the round after seaming, then folded over and seamed for a cozy finish to this handsome sweater for everyone.

roWan Meghan Babin
Rowan by co-founder Meghan Babin is a celebration of cables. The intricate central cable motif on the back is an updated version of traditional Celtic knotwork, which grows like tree roots from the ribbing, hence how this design received its name, Rowan, the sacred Tree of Life in Celtic mythology, a symbol of courage, wisdom, and protection. There is no better fall ritual than to wrap yourself in Rowan through the upcoming seasons and years ahead. Rowan is a longline, open-front cardigan with deep, pockets, fully-fash ioned set-in shoulder shaping, and a grand collar that’s folded and seamed down in finishing for ease of wear. This cardigan is worked from the bottom up in pieces, blocked, seamed, with the collar picked up and worked last. Made (as always) to fit a size 32”-64” bust, this cardigan is made for anyone searching for a cabled proj ect that is both engaging and deeply rewarding.

oisin Meghan BabinOisin (Osh-een) by Meghan Babin is the mate to her Ailm scarf, featuring the same cables in our worsted weight Forge for a cozy, handsome beanie for all. Made with a deep, squishy fold-over brim, the cables flow naturally from the brim ribbing and decrease away seamlessly into the crown. This beanie is worked in the round from the bottom up beginning with an optional tubular cast on for a polished finish. The hat is worked from a chart through the crown decreases for a straightforward but eye-catching project.
aoife
Sloane Rosenthalaoife
Aoife by Sloane Rosenthal features central blocks of tessel lating diamonds that interlock and wind up the front and back of this cozy autumnal pullover. The perfect pullover for casual weekends or dressed up for work, this sweater is as comforting as it is eye-catching. Made from the bottom up in pieces, this pullover features fully-fashioned set-in sleeves for the ideal fit and stockinette sleeves for visual simplicity so all the attention goes to the cables on the front and back. The folded mock turtleneck is picked up after seaming and worked in the round, folded over, then seamed for an always cozy layer around the neck and face.

A grand wrap for fall (and every season to come) — Lochlann by our pal Cheryl Toy is one big, squishy, cozy shawl covered in leaf lace, slip stitch stripes, garter stitch, ribbing, and bound off with a contrasting I-cord for a spectacular finish. Made in our soft and airy Weld, this large triangular shawl is worked from the top-center down, growing with increases along the center spine and edges. An irresistible knit, this design has serious “one more row” syndrome.

Ailm (named for the Celtic symbol for strength, endurance, and healing) is inspired by the craggy-faced mountains in the Hudson River Valley. Hike any trail along the Hudson River and you’ll find rock-faced walls challenging you to find the pitted hand and foot holds up to the summit. Ailm mimics the charming natural obstacle courses with repeating antler and rope cables that flow seamlessly in and out of the ribbing.Covered in handsome cables, this scarf is incredibly soft and cozy, as well as light and airy. Worked from end-to-end, Ailm is fully charted and easy to memorize. An inte grated I-cord edge worked at the same time results in a perfectly polished finish at bind off.
