Welcome everyone to The Continental Pilot Field as we welcome Haringey Borough in Isthmian League action.

A big welcome to all their committee, staff, management, coaches, players and of course supporters for today’s game.

The last couple of league games have been literally fine margins, as a club we have to be reminded how far we have come and keep right behind the lads. We have shown so far this season we are more than capable of challenging near the top of the league and our quest to add more points on the board starts again today.

I was very happy and encouraged by Tuesday nights game. Many consider the Velocity Cup a distract ion but to see so many of our Academy

graduates get their senior debuts made me very proud. The future is certainly bright and we have to continue to support that.

This week marked one year since our appointment of Gary Elphick as Manager with Jon Meeney also joining us as First Team Coach. Alongside Andrew Brown and the rest of the staff we have had a year to remember and long may that continue. Gary’s honesty, integrity and care for the club cannot be matched by anyone and not only do I respect the job, but the man and really enjoy our working relationship.

Here’s to many more years of us working together.
