Dajon Golding Makes A Scoring Debut For Cray Wanderers

The Cray Wanderers faithful may not have had any points to celebrate after a five goal thriller against Bishop's Stortford, but they could celebrate the debut goal of new signing Dajon Golding, who put Wands ahead on sixty eight minutes before a Blue comeback.

Dajon has most recently been in National League South with Tonbridge Angels - his second Step Two club this season as he started the campaign with our Play-off winners from last season, Cheshunt. Of course he left a promotion-winning club to join the Ambers, as he was a big part of Worthing's title win last season, making forty-nine appearances for the Mackerel Men and scoring ten goals. Prior to his time with Worthing he was a Rook, playing twentytwo times for Lewes during the 2018-19 campaign and another thirty-five - with eleven goals - the following season, prior to his departure for Woodside Road.

He has also played for Phoenix Sports and Hastings United, after coming through Dartford’s Academy.

Billy Knott Signs On At Margate

Midfielder Billy, from Canvey Island originally, is widely travelled, having had a youth career that spanned Concord Rangers, West Ham United and Chelsea. He then moved to the North East of England, where he signed for Sunderland, and whilst with the Black Cats had loan time at AFC Wimbledon, Wycombe Wanderers and Woking, before ruining the alliter ation by trying Port Vale.

It didn't work out for him at the Stadium of Light, so he moved a little further south to Bradford City, and after leaving Valley Parade played for Gillingham, Rochdale and Lincoln City.

He returned to his roots with Concord Rangers in 2018, and has also played for Chelmsford City and Bowers & Pitsea, before making two appearances for Canvey at the start of last season. He also turned out for Great Wakering Rovers last season, and this season has been back with Bowers, making six appearances.

Margate Debut For Nathan Wood

Margate gave a debut to forward/attacking midfielder Nathan Wood in their defeat at Horsham on January 14, after he made a move to Hartsdown Park from Tonbridge Angels.

Nathan has recently been playing Isthmian football for Ramsgate on loan from Angels, making five appearances for the South East leaders. He played Academy football for Southampton and youth football for Wimbledon - and played eighteen times for Leatherhead during the 201718 campaign, where he came on as a substitute in the televised FA Cup First Round win at Billericay Town.

He went on to play for Walton Casuals, Herne Bay and Molesey, and then made twenty-five appearances for Bedfont Sports during the 2019-20 campaign, scoring five goals in the process. He then headed to Woking, and also spent time on dual-registration with Farnborough.

After leaving the Cards he started this season with Faversham Town, scoring four goals in thirteen games before his move to Longmead.
