Tamsin Abbott has co-curated this exhibition which takes place during the period the Celts called ‘the end of the harvest and the beginning of winter’. Tamsin has exhibited with the gallery for many years and many of you will be familiar with, or be collectors of, her stained glass. She specialised in Medieval Literature at Stirling University which introduced her to the magical world of romance, strange words and naïve but arresting images, and the beauty of the Scottish landscape.
The exhibition features a group of extraordinary artists, some you will know and others are new to the gallery, whose work embodies the natural world and the environment, the reinterpretation of landscape and its inhabitants, through creative vision and imagination with aspects of mythology, folklore and history.
