FSJ – SSA it is an essay that captures the continous flow of images with a glance turned to an imersive experience of 10 years photographing the Market - Feira de São Joaquim.
More than 53 years in existence, organized in a very organic way regarding the corridors and labirinths with its odors, flavors and colors that takes to the extreme of revulsion and enchantment it is the place where the Feira de São Joaquim in the suburb of Salvador Bahia is established.
A place that resists against the urban suffocation of the big Salvador and keeps a cultural treasure of traditions, dialetic trade languages that brings to life in another period of a very old Brasil when the boats used to line by the waterfront close by bringing products from the country side of Bahia to be distributed and sold there at the market
All these contrasts are there presented beside a trade that reveals a strong resistance and fight that keeps the organism pulsing.
