In memory of the lives stolen in Gaza -Summer 2014-
In the summer of 2014, Israel launched a 50-day attack on the Gaza Strip, called “Operation Protective Edge.� During the attack, over 2,130 Palestinians were killed, including more than 500 children. 71 Israelis were killed, 66 of whom were soldiers. This booklet commemorates the Palestinians whose lives were stolen during the 50-day attack. Those killed are more than numbers, and Humanize Palestine aims to share the faces and stories behind the statistics.
