BRONCOS ROSTER 20112012
Dean Brockman HEAD COACH & GENERAL MANAGER Hometown: St. Benedict, SK Dean is in his 15th season behind the Broncos’ bench, and has established a reputation for stressing discipline, hard work and a team-first attitude among his players. He has won the Coach of the Year award in 07, 08, 09 seasons and was a finalist for the award in 2011. Dean has been to the league final six times, winning four times, and has won the Anavet cup three times. He has also been a part of three national championships, winning twice. Recently Dean won a gold medal at the World Jr. A Championships in Langley as an assistant coach for Team Canada West. Dean’s family has been a huge part of his success! He remains focused and eager to keep the Broncos amongst the elite of all Junior A teams across Canada.
Tim Klimosko
Murray Brookbank
ASSISTANT COACH Hometown: Humboldt, SK Tim started his job as assistant coach of the Humboldt Broncos in July 2005. He was and still is a self-employed carpenter and coached in the minor hockey system for 12 years winning several provincial and league championships. One of Tim’s greatest feats (and this may never happen again) was coaching the Humboldt AA Midgets to an undefeated season. Tim’s positive nature and ability to get the most from his players has led him to success at the Junior A level. As a minor hockey coach, he was instrumental in developing players and getting them ready to play at the next level.
ASSISTANT COACH Hometown: Lanigan, SK Murray has experienced coaching at all levels and this is his seventh full season with the Humboldt Broncos. Murray’s experience has seen him coach Team West at the Under 17’s AAA Midget and he also had a previous stop with the Melville Millionaires at the Junior A level. Murray’s wisdom has created opportunities for many players over the years including his three boys – two of whom played in the NHL. This veteran brings stability and a wealth of experience.
Humboldt and District Ambulance service staff are on standby at Bronco home games, ready to help if a player or fan is injured at any point during the game.

Brett McCorkel TRAINER • Hometown: Saskatoon, SK This is Brett ’s third season with the Humboldt Broncos. Formerly, he was a trainer for the University of Saskatchewan Huskies hockey team. Brett ’s biggest asset to the Broncos is his demeanour. Brett quietly does a great job in dealing with the needs of every player on the team. He is often the first one at the rink and the last one to leave. His patience often gets overlooked and he has the ability to make people around him better. Brett ’s job is very demanding at times and it is often underrated in how important it is to the hockey club.
