construction - Developed by Humko Bled Company. We have introduced a unique panel made of a durable plastic panel or polyester with a layer of high quality gloss paint in any desired RAL colour. ASCON panel is a multifunctional standardized panel that is easy to install as: - Standard facade panel in the desired colour. - Vertical carpet of vegetables / herbs. - Vertical wall of decorative plants. - Noise barrier on highways and other areas ex posed to noise. -G reen wall with double underground water irrigation and system of heating / cooling. - Device for purification of gray water by using plants in the vertical wall. - Green wall in combination with photovoltaic panels. - Active insulation of facades with groundwater circulation. - I t also performs heating / cooling of planted surfaces that help plants grow in warm summer and cold winter temperatures. -A nti-noise wall / facade filled by rockwool or vulcanic minerals The system application is simple and versatile. The mineral substrate use provides many years successful growth of plants. The irrigation system supplies water and fertilizer to all parts of the green structure. Water is recycled. Gray water or drainage water can be used for irrigation. The used water is cleansed of organic impurities and nitrogen. Double pumping station provides irrigation even when one pump fails. The system can be controlled to a maximum of 20 magnetic valves or the control central system in the event of more than 20 sections. Online connection and remote control exist as an option. The mineral substrate with additional zeolite with the root system makes a good wastewater filtration and purification system.

We have created a permanent panel for greening vertical walls, which is similar to the standard facade elements. Its life expectancy is comparable to similar metallic elements and it is up to 40 years.

The panels are manufactured with high technology machines, which are used in the automotive industry. They have been developed in the modern tool of 3D techniques in correlation with the basic concept of Ascon & Ekens principles.

We use only the best ABS plastics and polyester fibres. All parts of the fastening are made of stainless steel.
Surface protection
Surface protection is enabled by the use of the high quality PU colours. ABS plastic panels have a high surface glow that is used in the automotive industry.
Irrigation
Tubes with emitters are attached to stainless steel horizontal supports. Each line of the panel has its own pipe for irrigation.
Seedlings
Planted are seedlings of plants with 2-8 cm plug or pot. In addition to planting there is added the front mineral substrate, which is well pressed to a seedling.

Substrates and fertilizers
Humko is a company specialized in the production of horticultural substrates, especially in the production of mineral-zeolite substrates. The new line of Humko Vulkahum substrate provides adequate bases for interior and exterior use, both for ornamental plants and vegetables. The high content of mineral components provides good water permeability, high levels of water and nutrients retention with constant PH value. For best results of growth we use only the best Scotts - Everris fertilizers. For panels used for growing vegetables we deliver solid and liquid organic fertilizers from hydrolyzed collagen, dried chicken organic manure and humic acids from leonardite and seaweed.

We deliver a range of young plants programmes for Humko green walls: - Plantations of the best high class are provided by reputable companies such as Kientzler, Selecta, All Plants, Plant Estate and some others with a long specialty in this area. - Standard planting consists of combined perennial plantations that are well established in the green wall - Sustainable plantations remain fresh with low demand of maintenance as Sedum sp., Thimus sp. Sempervivum sp. and the like. - Plants and aromatic plants are specifically sorted for special planting with an aroma effect. - Vegetable plantations can be delivered locally.

Evapo-transpiration Vulkahum substrates contain zeolite and diatomea clay, which reduce the need for water. Water consumption per 1 m2 of the green wall is 3 to 6 litres daily of the warm season. Early spring and autumn are the season of demand for water from only 2 to 4 litres per m2. During the winter season watering is recommended only to prevent the dehydration of plants and roots.

Water
Water is the most essential element in ASKON & EKENS green walls. - Drinking water, rain water, underground water or gray waters can be used for irrigation by means of the drop by drop system. - Underground water can be used for heating / cooling of the facade and root system. At the same time the building is isolated from external climatic conditions. Grey water can be purified through the mineral substrate by zeolite. Plants assimilate nitrogen from the water circulating in the wall. Precipitation has no effect on the water balance in the green wall.

In this regard Humko Flat green wall can be incorporated in the construction, but not as a retrofit. Due to the aesthetic appearance the panels may remain unplanted or may be used occasionally (seasonal vegetables or decoration). According to the new EU regulation such systems of greening will add additional eco-points to a building.
Decoration
Humko Flat panels have different final layers of processing. Basically, we offer panels in different basic colours. Besides, we offer a final layer with lamination of certain decorations as veneer, metal, marble and the like. The highest level is processing with 3D hydrographics by which we decorate panels in more than 2,000 different imitations veneer, stone, carbon fibres and different designs. With different finishes Humko green walls may be used for each classic or
design interior as well as external architectural solutions, display panels and similar.

Compact, economical, integrated with rockwool, multifunctional, Cost-effective solution In view of a wider application of simple and easy to install. green walls we have developed an economically convenient panel, which has a patented Humko solution of double substrate and model. The panel is manufactured in the automotive industry of the top nonwoven textile. It is made of three layers of which the last is waterproof. In the last chamber there is built in a plate of rockwool or pressed mineral substrate, which is used to transport water with nutrients and root development. The front layer is originally produced in black, brown, green and white colour, and has the ability of lamination by foil. The panels are hung like other Humko panels programme, and it also applies to the irrigation system.

Why?
In the world there most frequently appears a green wall with two layers of felt attached to a waterproof panel. This system is relatively inexpensive but has disadvantages in case of interrupted water, transplanting and aesthetics. Therefore, we have joined classics with our patented double-layer system, modular joining and our design and created the Humko Soft Shell panel.

Start
Double-sided, durable and multifunctional self-standing panel
Maxi Duo double-sided panel was developed in 2000 for greening of major motorway projects, town entries, green partitions of town gardens, playgrounds and the like.
Material
The panel is made of HDPE roto plastics. There are several colours from green, black, white, granite gray, terracotta and colours by order. The panel is simply put on the pipes end, pipes are connected for irrigation and filled by mineral substrate of rock wool or volcanic minerals.
Irrigation
Pipes for irrigation stretch along the entire length of the green wall and each raster has a trunk that goes to the top of the panel and returns to the bottom. At the top of each panel there is a horizontal outlet pipe with emitters. At the bottom panel there may be collected water in a drainage pipe for water recirculation.
Seedlings
Each side of the panel has 235 planting holes or planted by the raster of the plants size.

Purpose
Purpose
Humko Veggy is a vertical garden for tenants in settlements that do not have a garden. In a small vertical gardens there can be grown seasonal vegetables, herbs, spices or ornamental plants. Due to the built-in wheels, Veggy can be simply removed from the sun, shade and other weather conditions.
Material
Humko Veggy is made of HDPE roto plastics. There are several colours at your disposal from green, black, white, granite gray, terracotta and colours by order. The panel is filled by a rockwoll plate for the rear drainage part, and growing holes are filled by the mineral substrate Vulkahum Mix 70 or flocks of stone wool. The panel bottom is filled with drainage expanded clay or lava.
Irrigation
Humko Veggy has its own water reservoir of 50 litres, water pump, water level gauge, humidity sensor and microprocessor that waters by the preset moisture. In the panel there are two tubes with integrated emitters, one for the front part and the other for the rear part of the drainage.
Seedlings
The panel has 25 holes for planting of 8 cm and 6 holes of 5 cm. At the bottom those plants are planted that require more water.
Veggy Design
Simple microprocesor control the irrigation by preset humidity level. It also regulates the water filling into the reservoir if it is connected to the hose. It has 5 m of cable from the adapter.
Humko Veggy Design is a design vertical garden for decoration in business premises such as banks, hotels, restaurants, offices, jewellers, fashion outlets and similar. Veggy Design comes with a one-sided or double-sided panel. Design panel are decorated with 3D hydrographics and lacquered by the ceramic glaze. The panel may also be in one selected colour. The panel is to be planted by selected plants, which should for some weeks be grown in a greenhouse.
Material
Humko Veggy Design is made of resistant 316 SS stainless steel, processed by powder coating in any desired RAL colour. The panel is made of superior ABS in the required processing - lamination or hydrographics. The reservoir lid is made of oak, fir, ash and the like. The panel is filled by a stone wool plate for the rear drainage part, and growing holes are filled by the mineral substrate Vulkahum Mix 70 or crumbs of stone wool. The panel bottom is filled with drainage expanded clay or lava.

Veggy Wall can be kept in the interior of bright rooms as well as on external walls in front of the house entry, terrace, balcony, atrium and the like. Weggy Wall is a designer piece that can be combined in a number of different combinations of frames, panels and decoration panel.
Material
Humko Veggy Wall has a frame made of brushed wood, MDF panels or stainless steel. The panel is made of superior ABS material in different colours, decorations and hydroprint. The panel is filled by a rockwool plate for the rear drainage part, and growing holes are filled by the mineral substrate Vulkahum Mix 70.
Salanova in three weeks
In the tank, water is added with a water-soluble fertilizer and a few drops of an organic acid and chlorine against algae. The first watering saturates the rockwool by the Humko Hydro Starter fertilizer. When adding water, make sure that the water is not poured on the floor.

A wide variety of RAL scale coating allows flexibility in design and thus provides architectural coating solutions in a wide range of colours and durability options in both residential and commercial applications. The range of colours for ABS panels is limited, but remains rich enough to allow appropriate colour combination with the furniture and environment. All panels can be decorated in the 3D technique of the water transfer. This makes the final panels look like wood, marble, carbon fibres, or any other decoration.
Why
Unique design of HUMKO panels allows every plant to grow on sloop surface exposed to the sun with sufficiant root volume with mineral substrate. Panels prevent dehidration of the roots. Different colors and decorations can be combined.

Substrates
We have prepared a new line of Vulkahum substrate specifically for green walls that have a high porosity and at the same time retain the heavy available water. - Every Vulkahum substrate lasts several years (5-20 years). - Every Vulkahum substrate comprises long-term and organic fertilizers rich in amino- and humic acids.
Additional lighting
Most of the interior green walls, except those exposed to the sun, require additional artificial lighting. For satisfactory assimilation, we offer high-pressure sodium lamps of 70, 100 or 200W or metal halide lamps. Time of supplemental lighting depends on daylight and plant species.
Feasibility Study and Development
The Humko Company participated in the feasibility study of green walls at Palmengarten Frankfurt, Germany, from 2013 to 2014. We also participate in a feasibility study with the organization Grünclusiv at the municipal building in Nurenberg, Germany. There our sample green wall got the best grades in the period 2013-2014. Our panels are tested at the University of Greenwich in London. The Humko Company constantly invests its effort in the development of new systems, improving the substrate, irrigation and automation. In the coming year there are expected new growing mineral plates and a new system of control over the iOS and Android platforms.

Since 2001, we have been engaged in test planting of plants, such as Sedum sp., Sempervivum sp., Thymus, and the like. In the last five years, we have been planting common perennial plants, and in the last three years, we have planted the most popular perennial plants and vegetables.
Plant species
We plant more than 130 different perennial plants that we can find the best species for green walls in alpine climate conditions (+35 °C in the summer, -25 °C in the winter). Plants are planted in places of different exposure to the sun and on different surfaces. All three systems have been used for testing: the classic green wall with polyester fleece, Ascon & Ekens plastic plates and steel Ascon & Ekens plates.

News MOSS WALL IMPREGNATED PLANTS
The Humko Company began to work with new materials for green walls like moss, prepared plants, prepared trees and similar decorations. • The Norway moss is known as reindeer moss, in particular it is prepared by glycerine and colour in the particular shade to be combined in various designs, logos and arrangements. • Prepared forest moss is used for the same purpose, but it does not exist in different shades. • Prepared plants used in different arrangements and decorations where a longer lifetime of material is expected. • Prepared flowers keep fresh look in the long term as it allows smaller investment in decorations. Same materials can be used several times, which reduces the price to the user and the cost of the firm. • Prepared trees are used where naturally cannot grow (bathing, shopping centres, closed and dark rooms where there is no climatic conditions for growth. • Ready-made decorations by choice or by order.
