Tawa Pulao Recipe

Tava Pulav Recipe is a popular street food in Mumbai.India has a multitude of rice preparations, and this tawa pulao recipe is one of our favorite kinds! This easy recipe is one of our favorite rice preparations. Will it become yours?

For the rice: •

1 cup basmati rice

4 cups water

3 drops oil

Salt as required

For The Tawa Masala: •1 capsicum, chopped •2 tomatoes, chopped •1 onion, chopped •½ inch ginger and 3 garlic cloves crushed into a paste •¼ tsp red chili powder •¼ tsp turmeric powder •2 tsp pav bhaji masala


•½ tsp cumin seeds •2 tbsp butter •1 carrot, chopped •1 potato, chopped •½ cup green peas •½ tsp lemon juice •Chopped coriander leaves •Salt as required

To Cook The Rice: Wash the rise well and then soak it for half an hour. 1.Put the rice in a cooker, and pour the water in. 2.Add the salt and oil and stir well. 3.Cook the rice on a medium flame for ten minutes. 4.Stain the rice and cover it.

To Make The Masala: 1.In a pressure cooker, steam the carrot, potato and peas. 2.Once steamed, peel the potatoes and carrot and roughly chop. 3.Place a wok on a stove and heat. 4.Fry all the spices with butter, cumin seeds, and lemon juice in the wok for 1 minute. 5.Add all vegetables, diced and cook until soft. 6.Then add the cooked rice and stir well until fully mixed, and serve with chopped coriander leaves to garnish.
