Get a grant to train your workers! Ontario's workforce is our most valuable asset. As the economic environment evolves, so do the skills needs of employers. Experience shows that employer involvement in training improves business performance. The Canada Ontario Job Grant gives businesses funding to help train workers. The Emergency Services Training Centre (ESTC) in Blyth, Ontario has become a model for fire, emergency response and corporate training in Ontario.
Farm Rescue Training, June 5 (evening) & June 6, 2015; Cost: $264.00 ( Saturday lunch included). Friday Evening: Introduction to Farm Emergencies: 2 hours classroom, 2 hours hands on farm hazards; confined spaces; environmental hazards; mechanical (tractor/machines) hazards; chemical hazards; animal hazards; farm emergency preplanning; farm trauma emergencies; farm fire emergencies Saturday: Farm Confined Space Awareness: 3 hours of classroom with 5 hours of handson: hazardous gases on farms; dust explosions; foaming manure; silo fires; grain bin entrapments; feed mill/elevator fires.
