Therefore, it is no coincidence that the world’s first lightweight one-man chainsaw was invented in Sweden in 1954. More precisely in Jonsered, a small industrial village located in the forest landscape a few miles northeast of Gothenburg. HOW IT WORKS The saw protection consists of a lining with long fibres. If the saw chain cuts through the outer fabric, the fibres can get tangled up in the chain.

LIGHTWEIGHT PROTECTION Modern protective clothing consists of saw protection in six or nine layers. It makes the garment lighter and more comfortable while maintaining the level of protection.

MODERN MATERIAL Cordura is a durable, synthetic material used in clothing for demanding jobs in harsh conditions. Aramid, which consists of heat-resistant and robust synthetic fibres, offers a good balance between strength and weight, making the clothing both lightweight and comfortable.
