Jonsered Chain saws have a high power output in relation to their weight, and our advanced steel spring vibration dampening system effectively absorbs engine and cutting vibrations for exceptionally smooth cutting with greater control.

EASY START WITH SPIN START™

Spin Start™ reduces the pulling force required to start the saw by up to 40 %. We use this term for models with decompression valves as well as those with a spring-assisted starter. Some models feature both.

TURBO AIR CLEANING

Turbo technology uses centrifugal force to separate and remove up to 97% of sawdust and debris from the intake air. As a result, the air filter stays clean up to 30 times longer than an ordinary saw, maintaining good air flow for long- lasting high performance.

TOOL-FREE CHAIN TENSIONER

The side mounted chain tensioner makes chain adjustment quicker and easier. Several models have a tool-free chain tensioner which makes chain tensioning and assembly of the bar and chain even easier.

PORTABLE AND PROFITABLE MACHINES Milling your own lumber, right where the logs are, can be a very satisfying experience. The excellent Âportability of these sawmills lets you take the mill to the trees, saving time and log transport costs. Our mills are compact and easy to assemble. They can be transported in a standard-size pickup truck. Both models feature a carriage assembly that runs on rails. The log bed is at near ground level, making it easy to roll logs into position. A ruled log gauge letâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s you set accurate board thickness, and you can mill everything from veneer to large beams. The SM 2186 is equipped with a special narrow kerf chain and the powerhead can be converted for use as a regular chain saw. Portable, easy to operate and efficient, these quality sawmills let you turn logs into valuable lumber and get a good return on your investment.

CLUTCH/BLADE BRAKE

The SM 2196 Bandsaw, is equipped with a reliable four-cycle Honda engine, and features a combined clutch/blade brake. The blade is started and stopped via a simple control lever mounted on the handle bar.

SAFE AND PRECISE SAWING

The bandsaw blade on the SM 2196 runs on two large-diameter wheels inside easy to remove blade covers.Only the part of the blade actually needed for sawing is exposed when in use.The assembly includes a new improved blade guide for 足precise alignment.
