INTRODUCTION Thank you for purchasing a HUSTLER 2000 BALEFEEDER. Please read through this manual as it contains important information which you need to know. Correctly maintained and operated this machine will give many years of service. If you have any questions please contact the dealer who supplied you this machine. They have trained technicians who will be able to help you.
IMPORTANT • Please ensure this booklet is read and understood by every operator of this machine. • Also ensure that this booklet goes with the machine if it is resold and is read and understood by owner.

SPECIFICATIONS Pressure:
155-206 BAR [2250 – 3000 psi].
Flow:
12 - 60 Litres/minute (We recommend restricting flow to 25 L/min MAXIMUM.)
Hydraulic Requirements:
2x set of double acting hydraulics.
Tractor size: • Large enough to safely handle the bale feeder and 1 bale (1000 kg maximum bale capacity).
Machine Weight • 2000 = 490 kg empty
Hose Connections • 2 hoses to inside lever which operates platform. • 2 hoses to outside lever which operated rotors
WARNING BEFORE ATTEMPTING ANY MAINTENANCE, ENSURE ENGINE IS SHUT OFF AND NO ONE IS NEAR THE HYDRAULIC CONTROLS

MAINTENANCE (also do this before initial operation) • Grease all points regularly. Especially drive sprockets, drive and pins, regularly. Use minimal amount of grease. Grease at points of contact

• Keep the chains oiled. Use non-tacky black or brown chain lube monthly. • If the machine is not to be used for a long period of time, spray the ram shaft with CRC Soft Seal or similar to protect against rust. • After the first 10 hours of operation and during routine servicing ensure that grubscrews and bolts are tight. Check operation of the safety latch. • If rear chain is replaced or removed, ensure feed drums are timed correctly, as shown below.
Note: If you are having trouble, with the operation of the machine jamming or sticking· (i. hooks, forks drums etc), please check the components for mud/feed buildup, including’ under the covers. Particular Areas to Check: • Hook system jamming - Clean out hook area, including pivot • Forks jamming in forks pockets - Clean out fork pockets so you can see all the way through. 4
