This is in stark contrast to the larger, horsepower hungry bale choppers and TMR feed mixers.

Depending on terrain, a small 50Hp tractor is big enough to handle a chainless balefeeder. South Carolina A pickup with bale bed already fitted is capable of powering the Chainless feeders, allow ranchers to feed square and round bales.

Even small 80 horse power tractors can handle 2x large 2200lb square haylage bales with ease in the trailed models.
