The Hitachi Extended Warranty scheme now includes cordless AND electric power tools* Following the huge success of the Hitachi Li-Ion tool warranty, you can now register ALL your electric power tools* for an extra 2 years warranty in addition to the standard 12 months. Mains power tools and cordless tool bodies are covered, as well as 4.0Ah and 5.0Ah Li-Ion batteries. Online registration is required within 4 weeks of purchase via the Hitachi Power Tools (UK) Ltd website. What does the extended warranty cover? We undertake to replace or repair any part found to be defective in material or workmanship, within 36 months of delivery to the original purchaser. What tools are not covered by the warranty? This scheme is only available to new tools purchased and used in the UK. Petrol tools have a separate extended warranty. See website for details. Cordless gas nailers and pneumatic nailers are not eligible for the extended warranty. They are covered by the standard 12 month warranty. Fleet tools are not eligible for the extended warranty. These are covered by a 3 month warranty against manufacturing defects. What is not covered? â&#x20AC;˘ Chargers, accessories and other consumable items, NiCad and NiMH batteries and Li-Ion batteries with capacity lower than 4.0Ah. These items are covered by the standard 12 month warranty. â&#x20AC;˘ Defects arising from neglect, misuse or accident, except as provided by statute. How do I get my tool repaired? You will need to provide your proof of purchase and warranty registration number to the service agent.

Brushless Motor Technology Brushless motors turn much more efficiently than conventional motors with less electrical loss and friction resistance. Brushless motors are around 30% more efficient than conventional motors.
