In recent months we have acquired new branches which have had a strong brick & block history, branches including Formby, Woodford, Minera and the two in St Helens will further strengthen our market share and add value in terms of stock and expertise that will help us service new and existing customers. News Huws Gray reaches South Manchester Brick Market are a family firm, established in the year 2000, offering high quality materials serving all areas of South Manchester. Mr Jenkins (Brick Market Director) commented:“As a family firm we’ve had great success over the last 15 years, we’ve invested heavily in the property and stock. Huws Gray is delighted to announce its first-ever acquisition in the South Manchester area, having recently completed the purchase of Stockport-based Brick Market (trading as Woodford Building and Plumbing Supplies). Huws Gray now employs 600 employees in 47 different trading locations, with the addition of the new Stockport branch significantly strengthening their presence in the north-west.
A Huws Gray spokesman commented: “We’ve been looking to add to our branch network in the Manchester area for some time now, and this acquisition can’t come at a better time for us. This will significantly help to strengthen the Huws Gray’s brand awareness in the North West and also introduce our presence in south Manchester. Huws Gray extends partnership with children’s hospices. Huws Gray Builders Merchants is delighted to announce that it has extended its partnership with a group of children’s hospices for a further year. The company began its charity partnership in 2015 as part of its special 25th anniversary celebrations, choosing six different children’s hospices located around the branch network.
