PORTFOLIO - 5TH SEMESTER Consolidating our work from the 5th semester, we designed a portfolio that highlighted our strengths and capabilities as accurately as possible. My portfolio was based on the versatility of my design representation and process, constituting of digital models, drawings and my research. Softwares Used: Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop.
The Colour Palette
FARNSWORTH HOUSE - AXONOMETRIC RENDER In the final assignment of the semester, we were asked to render an axonometric using a variety of color palettes provided to us. The design concept was to render it in a post-modern way, contradictory to the strictly modern building design concept, hence the choice of color is bold, contrasting and playful. Softwares Used: Adobe Photoshop
SECTION RENDER - PR02 MUSEUM
As a quiz, as part of our ongoing AD project, we were asked to render a section of a museum provided to us by the instructor. The design concept focused on rendering separate spaces in the museum according to the type of exhibit they contained, providing an insight of the programmatic layout through textures and colors and human activity. Software Used: Adobe Photoshop, AutoCad
A SENSOUS RETREAT - MASTERPLAN RENDER As an introduction to Adobe Photoshop, we were asked to render a masterplan of our ongoing project in the Architectural Design Studio. The design concept was based on using textures that were similar to the original look of the materials, while keeping a slightly whimsical touch to enhance visual appeal. Softwares Used: Adobe Photoshop, AutoCad
FORM DEVELOPMENT - MUSEUM In order to aid our final jury, we designed schematics that can help the jurors better understand the project and its key aspects. The features focused on in this assignment are: - Access - Circulation - Spatial Divisions based on Taxonomy - The Dome. Softwares used: Sketchup, Adobe Photoshop
FINAL JURY SHEET - DISASTER RESISTANT DWELLING
Using the brown tones of the overall design, the drawings were rendered and composed to create a cohesive jury sheet that explained the design and its process in a harmonious way. Emphasis was particularly an important factor in the design in order to highlight the main features of the project through the use of scale and hue/saturation. Softwares used: Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Sketchup, AutoCad
MID JURY SHEET - PR02 AN ARCHITECT’S MANIFESTO
Keeping in line with the theme of a nature inspired botanical museum, natural tones and hues have been used to render the drawings and create a contrast between the natural and the man-made. The sheet is composed linearly to aid in the explanation of process and the journey. Softwares used: Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, AutoCad
