Supporting Non-Profit Theater
from 2019 Season Program
by HVSF
While over 35,000 audience members join us each season, ticket sales only cover a portion of the cost of bringing world-class theater to our community. We depend on philanthropic contributions from friends like you! Please consider deepening your relationship with the Festival by becoming a supporter today.
Your gift impacts not only those who see performances under the tent, but radiates out into our community, serving over 50,000 students, teachers, neighbors, and families through our Education programs.
SUPPORT THE VITALITY OF NON-PROFIT THEATER
Whether you have been a fan for 20 years, or only recently discovered HVSF, whether you come to us from a neighboring state, a town along the Hudson River, or from the five boroughs, we’re glad you’ve chosen to make HVSF your theater home.
In our third decade, we are more committed than ever to creating and supporting our community through live theater, and we need your help to carry this work forward.

Raise a Glass at the Summer Gala
The Annual Summer Gala, held the first Saturday in June each season, is our largest fundraising event of the year. This celebratory evening of dining, drinking, and dancing on Boscobel’s Great Lawn features a live auction, reveling with the HVSF acting company, performance highlights from the coming season, and more.

The Sheila Allen Colby Legacy Giving Program
The Sheila Allen Colby Legacy Giving Program was established by and in honor of a dear friend and supporter of HVSF.
Sheila and her husband Tuck traveled to the Hudson Valley for over 20 years where they hiked, climbed, and flew throughout the highlands — and made HVSF their theatrical home. Because of this, it was important to Sheila to recognize HVSF in a special way.
If HVSF has made a difference to you and your family, we hope you will consider remembering the Festival in your estate with a legacy gift. Your support will ensure the vitality of theater in the Hudson Valley for years to come! You may encounter HVSF staff members selling raffle tickets during your visit. All proceeds support our yearround Education Programs and we welcome your donation! Connect with a staff member to purchase your tickets and you'll be entered to win a host of great local prizes. Annual drawing at season's end.
As a 501(c)3 not-forprofit organization and a public trust, our theater belongs to you. Please consider joining our family of supporters.
The Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival gratefully acknowledges the following generous donors to the 2019 Season (gifts from May 1, 2018 to April 30, 2019).
