DESCRIPTION
The Master in URBAN [ID] is a post-graduate program dedicated to developing new perspectives on critical issues in the Contemporary Urban Realm through theory, research, design and practical training. It is a challenge to pay attention to the seams between elements in a city, the interstitial spaces: to “mind the gap, so to speak.
The Public Realm includes all exterior and in-between spaces, linkages and built form elements that are physically and/or visually accessible regardless of ownership, for gathering or recreational use.
The Master in URBAN [ID] responds to the growing demand of this sort of professional in the public sector, a leading professional with a solid education in architecture and design and a comprehensive education, with the capacity to analyze different urban contexts and to understand the different aspects and elements that influence and give form to collective spaces in order to provide with new solutions according to our place and time.
The Master in URBAN [ID] aims to those needs, virtual and real, private and public, counting with the experience of an international faculty of architects, intellectuals, designers and media professionals in a relationship of creative interdisciplinary.
