AIMEE PAGET

RUTH TREMMEL

Never Monday; a collection about embracing all things handcrafted and letting you inner child run riot. It is not about acting younger, but rather remembering how carefree you were as a child and allowing yourself to revisit that feeling. Future ambitions are to explore as many of the fashion fields as possible; design, photography, fashion journalism and illustration, with the hope of a career that combines them all. mobile: 07402423513 email: aimeepagetdesign@gmail.com website: http://issuu.com/aimeepagetfolio

‘Americana Dreams’ plays with ideas from 1950’s American subcultures; using silhouettes from the period and graphic influences from the Pop Art movement, the collection looks at the sugar coated American lifestyle. Ruth hopes to continue working with menswear and tailoring, with a view to starting her own business specialising in one-off bespoke pieces.

CLAIRE FRANCES CUNNINGHAM Derived from fallen architecture, destruction and desolation, Genesis is inspired by the notion of uprising in a post-apocalyptic landscape. Although initiated from abandon the collection focuses on re-birth of culture and nods towards the future with a layered, urban aesthetic which appeals across the gender divide. mobile: 07807215174 email: clairefrances92@hotmail.com

HILIORY MASON The aim behind my collection was a collaboration of different cultures, focusing on Japanese and Indian traditional clothing. Patterns and colour were created through screen-printing with metallic foils. Garments are free flowing and wrapped around the body. My future ambition, apply to Asos market place. Set up an online shop, selling my own collections. My dream is to sell to many parts of the world. mobile: 07530824214 email: hiliory@live.co.uk blog: backwardstitches.blogspot.co.uk

I Hope to carry on drawing and designing prints to my heart’s content that one day these will be used for an established design company or quite possibly my own.

My collection explores a handmade approach to making fabrics, using a variety of techniques to create a luxurious fashion mood. Influenced by Paisley, Art Nouveau and couture, I combine abstract textures and foregrounds with bold and fine motifs inspired by graffiti and buildings seen in New York.

A high-end interior collection inspired by colour gradients within modern, geometric architecture. With colour being at the forefront of the collection, the boundaries of dyeing and printing techniques were pushed to achieve beautiful colour blends and complex mixes of striped pattern. I wish to expand my skills in the textile industry and one day, start my own business to create interior collections of printed textiles.

ERIN YOUNG

My final Collection has been inspired by pattern and composition within architecture, using my local surroundings. The shapes and patterns created when the original image is distorted, repeated or cut and replaced in a new order. I used this imagery to influence the composition and knit stitches with specific experimentation in graphic geometric patterns and the incorporation of a sheer element into my work.

My collection is an exploration of hand drawing and drawing through crochet and stitch to produce a selection of intricate fabrics aimed for upmarket children’s wear. Using inspiration from found objects; crockery, lace, ribbon, I create patterns and designs. In many of my samples the use of crochet, print and then stitch shows my personality through my work, as the whole piece is hand crafted by me. Once graduating I would like to continue my self expression through textiles.
