The company has now evolved into a dependable supplier for Flow control products, Bulk material handling systems, Dust control systems, MSW processing machinery for compost, RDF, Plastics and Waste to energy plants in technical collaboration with Hitachi Zosen Inova.

The products are manufactured under well established manufacturing process and quality assurance plans in most modern Factories, geared up to deliver on time at competitive prices.

In the journey to becoming a world class Cement, Steel, Power and Paper plant, Hyquip's products are chosen to overcome the most challenging applications and under the most extreme conditions to enhance the efficiency of their plants.

Screw conveyors We at Hyquip have perfected the art of manufacturing screw conveyors for over two decades and are ruggedly built for complete dependability and versatility to meet wide range of applications through special flighting with adaptations including special pitches, tapered, cutflight, ribbon and in various materials like Stainless Steel, Heat resistant steel and other alloy steels. We have specialised in typical applications like : r

High Temperature bed ash screws upto 6000C.

r Screw Coolers for cooling of materials from 6500C to 1500C. r Conveyors upto 10m span without intermediate bearings. r Metering applications for accuracies upto + 5%. r Ash Conditioning Systems.

Vertical Screw Lifts

r Inclined / Vertical Installations.

Screw conveyors are designed based on maximum volume of material or tons per hour, maximum lump size and percentage of lumps, flow-ability, moisture and abrasive nature of the materials being conveyed.

Hanger bearings : Hyquip has developed bearing bushes with special alloy for very severe abrasive applications. Standard bearing bushes are Bronze, Nylon, Teflon, Ultra Bronze, Oil impregnated wood and Chilled cast Iron.

Sectional Flights : Hyquip has forming dyes for conveyor sizes 150 mm through 1200mm to form a perfect helix thereby higher conveying efficiency and less wear-n-tear.

Hard-Surfaced Conveyor Screws : Hyquip hard-surfaced conveyor screws are engineered to prolong the life of flights while handling abrasive materials. An electrode disposition process is adapted on the carrying side of the flighting to achieve hardness ranging from 450600 BHN.

Coupling Bolts : Hyquip has developed a special bolt for the severe service encountered with a self-locking hexagonal nut. The bolt has the thread cut to proper length so that it does not project into and cut or wear the pipe walls. This prevents lot of damage and down time during operation of conveyors.

Bucket elevators Hyquip manufactures medium to high capacity Bucket Elevators designed to handle capacities upto 450 M3/hr and heights upto 110 Mts. Hyquip manufactures Chain and Belt Type Elevators to meet most applications of the Industry. The Chain Type Elevators are manufactured in association with Hitachi Metal Techno Ltd of Japan. The salient features of Hyquip high capacity Bucket Elevators are listed below : r

All the casing flanges are jig drilled with diagonals maintained within close tolerance to ensure perfect vertical alignment of all the casings. This will facilitate ease of erection and reduce time delays in equipment commissioning.

r

The buckets are jig fabricated and drilled, which ensures easy fixing and interchangeability.

r

The Chain and Sprockets are sourced from the World Renowned M/s. HITACHI of Japan. The Sprockets are segmented type which facilitates easy replacement, reducing down time.

r

The Elevator belting is Steel Cord Metaflex Belting of High Tensile rating with a max. of 0.5% elongation, manufactured at the state of the art plant of ANDREW YULE.

Parallel Tensioning Device

Bucket Fixing Detail

r

The belt is joined by a special clamping device and the Bucket fixing holes are factory drilled to ensure the longitudinal and transverse tensile members are not cut which would other wise weaken the belt.

r

The Hyquip Bucket Elevators are designed with self tensioning internal gravity take ups ensuring a totally dust sealed boot.

r

Hyquip has developed software for structural analysis and simulation of each component to its max stresses to build total reliability and dependability of the equipment.

Belt conveyors Belt conveyors have a vital application because of its capability of handling higher tonnage over long distance at lower cost than any other type of conveyor. They are used extensively for small and big capacity as they are able to handle wide variety of materials economically.

Hyquip belt conveyors are performing numerous other functions in addition to transporting bulk materials, such as weighing, blending, sampling and stockpiling.

Since the materials are carried on the belt, it is suitable for handling certain corrosive materials also. The range of sizes of material handled on the belt conveyors is limited only by the width of the belt.

As belt conveyors get longer and conveyor systems get more complex, it is important to understand and utilize advanced design principals required to insure a robust, reliable and cost effective material handling system.

Steep Angle Conveyors Steep angle conveyors are used wherever space is a constrain or the application demands a compact layout.

Typically most of the materials being handled by belt conveyors can be conveyed in steep angle conveyors such as coal, wood chips, gravel, copper ore, gypsum, sand, grains, refuse and municipal sludge.

All the conveyor accessories like guide rollers, dampening roller assemblies, contiwheel assemblies, belt beaters are precision engineered to suit demanding application needs.

Air slides Conveys fine dry granular materials The HYQUIP air slide conveyors efficiently combine low air pressure and gravity to fluidize and convey most types of fine dry granular materials regardless of abrasive nature or bulk density. The only criteria is particle size and moisture. The low profile design is totally enclosed and dust free, making it perfect for conveying from silos, rail cars and multiple discharge points or feeding to weigh hoppers, even over long distances. The energy efficiency and ease of installation of the

lump trap eliminates large lumps by creating a gravity trap in-line with a aeration conveyor. This is accomplished by

Air slide conveyors can be used in a single straight run, but are equally as effective when used in large systems. Through the use of turn boxes, conveyors can easily change directions, merge, or split without the need for powered conveyors or diverters. Manual or powered shut off gates can be integrated into any point of the system to control flow.

passing low pressure air through a overlapping configuration of porous membrane media and into the bed of the material being handled. Heavy lumps fall and are caught in the bottom of the lump trap which automatically empties using a level sensor accompanied by a series of slide gate valves.

The maximum range of the conveyors are limited only by the height of the source. Conveyors require a minimum of a 5 degree drop angle to function properly. A 10 degree angle is recommended for most applications.

Cross Belt Hammer Sampler The cross belt Hammer Sampler is designed to take out a representative sample of powdered material and lumps upto 200 mm from the material being conveyed by a belt conveyor without stopping the belt. The sampler pivots on an axis parallel to the centreline of the belt. As the hammer traverses in a rotary motion across the full width of the belt, the beck plate will push off the sample in complete cross section of the material stream. Fines will tend to be segregated at the bottom of the material on the belt, therefore the profile of the conveyor belt is formed to suit the curvature of the path of the hammer, so that the fines, which constitute part of the sample are collected from the belt. The Sampler is operated from a local push button station or it can be through a PLC-System.

Screw Sampler The Screw Sampler is designed to create a sample from continuous extraction of dry, non-sticky free flowing materials. The continuously operating sampler is driven by a geared motor coupled to a screw crossing the flow of material. The screw transports the extracted material to a mixing tank where it is homogenised by mixer wings connected to the through going screw conveyor shalft. The material at any time present in the mixer tank will represent a true average of the material having passed the sampler. The mixing tank has an overflow to safeguard against overfilling. Excess sample material is returned to the main material stream by gravity.
