MISSION STATEMENT

KOHL’S MISSION IS TO MAKE OUR STORES TO PROVIDE A SHOPPING ENVIROMENT THAT IS WELCOMING, AND OFFERING AFFORDABLE QUALITY PRODUCTS. BACKGROUND INFORMATION

MAXWELL KOHL, WHO HAD PREVIOUSLY OPERATED TRADITIONAL GROCERY STORES, BUILT HIS FIRST SUPER MARKET IN 1946. IN 1962, HE STARTED HIS FIRST DEPARTMENT STORE IN WISCONSIN. IN 1972 THE BRITISH-AMERICAN TOBACCO COMPANY’S US RETAIL DIVISION, BATUS INC., BOUGHT A CONTROLLING INTEREST IN KOHL’S CORPORATION. THE GROCERY STORES

WERE SOLD TO A&P IN 1983, OPERATING UNDER THE NAME KOHL’S FOOD STORE, AND LATER KOHL’S FOOD EMPORIUM.

BY THE END OF 2003, ALL KOHL’S FOOD STORES LOCATIONS WERE CLOSED. A GROUP OF INVESTORS, INCLUDING THE SENIOR MANAGEMENT PURCHASED THE COMPANY IN 1986, AND THE COMPANY ADDED 27 MORE STORES IN THE NEXT TWO YEARS.

KOHL’S HAS REPLACED MANY FORMER MERVYNS STORES IN THE WESTERN U.S. KOHL’S DESIGN ONCE OPENED IN JANUARY 2007, LOCATED IN THE HEART OF NEW YORK’S GARMENT DISTRICT.

GOAL MOMENT IS CAFE THAT LOCATED IN THE KOHL’S WHERE SHOPPERS CAN RELAX AND ENJOY A CUP OF COFFEE AFTER SHOPPING. TARGET AUDIENCE MEN AND WOMEN AGED 25-35 MIDDLE INCOME FAMILIES WHO ENJOY DRINKING COFFEE AND LIKE TO HANG OUT WITH FRIENDS IN COFFEE SHOP.

GOAL ACCENTS IS TO INTRODUCE A NEW HOME IMPROVEMENT AND DECOR SECTION THAT IS MARKETED SPECIFICALLY TO WOMEN. TARGET AUDIENCE WOMEN BETWEEN THE AGES OF 25-40 INTERESTED IN FURNISING AND DECORATE

THEIR HOME WITH VARIETY OF FEMININE COLORS AND TOOLS.

GOAL TO PROVIDE ORIENTAL KITCHEN SUPPLIMENTS THAT IS EASY TO USE TO ALL NATIONS CUSTOMERS. TARGET AUDIENCE AGE 34-38 WHO LOVES TO COOK AND INTERESTD IN DIFFERENT ASIAN COOKINGWARE, NEW HOMEOWNER LOOKING FOR A UNIQUE STYLE OF COOOKING.

GOAL TWIGS AND TREES IS AN ECO-FRIENDLY KIDS LINE, SO YOUR CHILD CAN BE HAPPY HEALTHY AND SAFE. TARGET AUDIENCE PARENTS AGED BETWEEN 30-38, MIDDLE TO HIGH INCOME FAMILIES LOOKING FOR A HIGH QUALITY NATURAL PRODUCT FOR THEIR CHILDREN.

GOAL LUNA IS DESIGN TO THE TECH SAVVY PEOPLE WHO WANTS TO BUY A DEPENDABLE AND USEFUL HOME OR WORKPLACE TECHNOLOGY PRODUCT. TARGET AUDIENCE MEN AND WOMEN AGED 28-32 MIDDLE INCOME FAMILIES WHO HAVE THEIR LIFE STYLES RELATE TO ELECTRONIC EITHER HOME OR WORK. FOR THEIR CHILDREN.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

RENE MAURICE GATTEFOSSE COINED THE TERM “AROMATHERAPY” IN 1928. HE UTILIZED THE WORD TO IMPLY THE THERAPEUTIC USE OF AROMATIC SUBSTANCES. SINCE THE BEGINNING OF AROMATHERAPY, THE PRACTICE HAS ENCOMPASSED HUMAN PATHOLOGY AND THE TREATMENT OF DIFFERENT CONDITIONS, EMOTIONAL AND PHYSICAL WITH ESSENTIAL OILS.

AROMATHERAPY CAN BE DEFINED AS THE ART AND SCIENCE OF UTILIZING NATURALLY EXTRACTED AROMATIC ESSENCES FROM PLANTS TO BALANCE, HARMONIZE AND PROMOTE THE HEALTH OF THE BODY, MIND AND SPIRIT.

NASCAR IS THE LARGEST SANCTIONING BODY OF STOCK CAR RACING IN THE WORLD. THE THREE LARGEST RACING SERIES SANCTIONED BY NASCAR ARE THE SPRINT CUP SERIES, THE NATIONWIDE SERIES, AND THE CAMPING WORLD TRUCK SERIES. We, the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR) is a family-owned and operated business venture that sanctions and governs multiple auto racing sports events. We started by Bill France, Sr. in 1947. As of 2009, the CEO for the company is Brian France, grandson of Bill France, Sr. NASCAR is the largest sanctioning body of stock car racing in the United States. The three largest racing series sanctioned by us are the Sprint Cup Series, the Nationwide Series, and the Camping World Truck Series. It also oversees NASCAR Local Racing, the Whelen Modified Tour, the Whelen All-American Series, and the NASCAR iRacing.com Series. We sanctions over 1500 race at over 100 tracks in 39 US states and Canada. We presented exhibition races at the Suzuka and Motegi circuits in Japan, Mexico, and Calder Park Raceway in Australia. In 2013, we update the identifier of the NASCAR to modernize from what we had before. We simplified the graphic element and minimized the colors to make it more masculine, simple, and bold. New identifier becomes more masculine and including more movement. Whole identity system united with slanted elements. It is representing the speed of racing car.
