The Lehman High School baseball team completed another successful season under longtime head coach Dave King, posting a 23-6 record and advancing to the regional tournament for the second consecutive season in Division IV. The 23 wins pushed King (back row, far right) to over 470 wins in his career.
The Minster girls softball team had its best season ever, and that's not just an opinion. Prior to this season, Minster had only one tournament victory in school history. But this year's team was a record-setter, finishing with a 25-6 record under coach Scott Robinson and advancing all the way to the Division IV Regional championship game before losing a tough game to Covington 9-6. The Lady Wildcats also finished runner-up in the tough Midwest Athletic Conference with a 6-1 record, when the previous high for league wins in a season was two. Their 349 hits as a team ranked seventh all-time in Ohio.
The Versailles High School baseball team had an outstanding season, winning the championship of the Midwest Athletic Conference, then adding sectional and district championships in postseason before falling in the Division III Regional semifinals. The Tigers, coached by Mitch Hoying, finished the season with a 24-8 record.
