Introduction GHO Group LLC is a consul;ng firm specializing in designing broadcast systems, media management systems, project management and providing training support in the transi;on to IP.

Gary Olson is a broadcast system designer, project execu;ve/owners representa;ve and trouble maker

as one of the industry thought leaders in the transi;on to IP. Gary’s background has always been on the forefront of broadcast technologies. He designed the first commercial television networks in 6 Eastern European countries and was one of the first to use file technology in broadcast. He designed the very first fully networked file based and IP digital broadcast and produc;on facility for CONCACAF. Gary was the lead designer and project execu;ve for the moderniza;on of all media technology in the United Na;ons World Headquarters – NY to a fully automated robo;c HD-­‐SDI facility with 16 audio channels for archive and mul;-­‐ plaVorm delivery to over 200 global media en;;es. Gary holds a patent in streaming media automa;on and distribu;on. He is author of Planning and Designing the IP Broadcast Facility, contribu;ng author on IP in the 2016 SBE Broadcast Engineering Manual and a regular contributor to The Broadcast Bridge 2
