Its a very cost-effective way of providing ‘training’ which is time and people efficient.
What do I need to run a seminar? We need a space in your office for the seminar to run. It needs to be interruption free and a good learning environment. We can also host them in IACT or arrange to run them from a hotel.
How many people can attend?
Seminars Key Benefits:

How long do they last? We usually run seminars for about 90 minutes – and we often run them over an extended lunch break. They are run at a fast pace and cover a lot of material to keep the audience active and focused. They are high intensity rapid learning environments. There will usually be a Q&A at the end of the seminar or time for the speaker to meet and talk to the participants and answer any specific queries.
What are the benefits We provide seminars that are high-intensity rapid learning environments that cover a lot of material and spin off many of the benefits of a full training course. 80% of the most powerful features of products like Excel are in 20% of the application – that’s what we focus on. Seminars save time, travel and accommodation costs and we can customise the seminar to demonstrate key features of a tool important in your business. Seminars also provide an opportunity to learn from other attendee’s questions and to ask questions of the speaker. Many attendees learn about products they’ve never used and see what the benefits can be for their role.

One-to-One Workshops After a training session or seminar is completed our team can work individually answering specific queries about custom projects and how to put the training into action. Our trainers build a trust with your team while helping them automate and put into action some of the skills they have learned into tasks they meet every day.
How does it work? The trainer visits your company and either sits at staff desks – or is based in a central location where staff can arrange a time to visit where they discuss any applications they have questions about.
One-to-One Workshops Key Benefits: •
Work directly on a oneon-one basis to help solve problems
•
Makes the training directly applicable and immediately valuable

•
Helps identify other areas for additional training
•
Builds trainee confidence in the training process and like all training will improve morale
•
Allows questions on other applications outside of the main training topic for small refresher opportunities
How long do they last? Typically users will spend between 15 and 30 minutes with the tutor. The oneto-one sessions can take place in conjunction with our webinars and seminars – utilising the trainers time between sessions. In-company visits usually last between 2-3 days depending on the size of your organisation and your requirements.
What are the benefits The one-to-one sessions help put the training immediately into use – sometimes in situations the trainee would not have thought possible. Viewing spreadsheets or other documents and their structure allows the trainer to advise on best practice and make suggestions to help improve the documents going forward. On an individual basis – questions which are sometimes not asked in a classroom or seminar setting can be asked freely.

What does the GDPR mean for your business? Every business has to put in place procedures to comply with the regulations and ensure all staff are fully trained and aware of the GDPR regulations – regardless of their size or location - once they have customers in the EU. That pretty much includes every business in Europe and nearly every large business World-wide as well as many smaller ones. This regulation – although onerous - can provide a great opportunity to review what data you store – allowing you to re-examine what you need and what data you can or should remove from your systems. It can provide a good opportunity to review some of the procedures and systems you have in place – and we can help you with all of those systems.
How can IACT help? IACT provide training for Businesses and Government departments in the GDPR regulation. We were awarded a cross-EU tender by the Irish Government to train the Data Protection Officers in all departments beating competition from across Europe thanks our team of GDPR experts – specialist Solicitors and Barristers with wide ranging data protection experience. We have a toolkit and templates for your company to help review your policies and procedures and help with keeping your company compliant. In the event of a breach we can also work with you in the event of an investigation by the Data Commission in preparing your response and ensuring your ongoing compliance. We can help train your designated in-house Data Protection Officer as well as providing end-user training for everyone in your organisation using our popular eLearning GDPR solution.

If you have a team producing large documents and regular presentations – building a professional template and a custom toolbar will save time everyday and help your organisation stick with a professional format. We can help with the design or work with your design team to implement their design within Microsoft Office.
How does it work? Once the templates and toolbars are created – we provide online training and a seminar demonstrating how to work with and use the templates and toolbars correctly. The online eLearning means instructions are always available to new users at any time.
How long does it take to build the templates? Depending on the number of templates you require and the complexity of the design it usually takes between one and six weeks to create the toolbars and templates and rollout the training.
What are the benefits The templates provide a standardised format for presentations and reports as well as safety and security considerations with Excel documents.
