The Resort’s three famed Robert Trent Jones Sr layouts (Slick Rock, Ram Rock and Apple Rock) are known for their scenic Hill Country views cut through granite outcroppings and beautiful water features that draw repeat visitors year after year. Slick Rock’s heralded “Million Dollar Hole” is a par 4 where players must drive over a double-waterfall to the fairway and then take an interactive drive through the waterfalls to get to the fairway to play their second shot. All three courses are currently ranked in the Top 20 of the annual Dallas Morning News list of the top golf courses you can play in Texas. Perhaps one of the most intriguing areas at Horseshoe Bay Resort is the Whitewater Putting Course, an 18-hole, par-72 dwarf Bermuda grass putting course complete with waterfalls and exotic birds. Whitewater Putting Course is designed like a regulation 18-hole golf course, complete with fairways, bunkers, water hazards and the finest of putting surfaces, but on a miniature scale. Every shot is played with a putter but, unlike a practice green, Whitewater is a fully-landscaped competitive course.

The resort is located in the heart of the Hill Country wine region, with more than 30 wineries within 90 minutes of the resort. Live music and special events are common throughout the year and are highlighted by an annual Craft Beer and Music Festival, Hot Air Balloon Festival and Food and Wine Festival. Accommodation includes 349 rooms and suites within the Horseshoe Bay Resort Tower and the Paseo Suites, adjacent to the hotel. Amenities include elegant dĂŠcor, flat-screen TVs, granite bathroom countertops, floor-to-ceiling windows, and high-speed internet access. The resort also offers luxurious, lakeside condominium rentals at The Waters, with spacious, one, two and three-bedroom floor plans.
