Projectionists – Cape Region SK Theatres: Western Cape 26 September 2011
Job Objective: To ensure the day-to-day running of the theatre in terms of cleanliness, maintenance and presentation of films. The individual will also be responsible for preparing films for screening as per the predetermined screening schedule and guidelines, thereby complying with perfect presentation rules. He/she will also be responsible for assisting the technician so to ensuring that regular maintenance is done to the projection equipment and theatre. Roles and Responsibilities: • Operation and maintenance of equipment and the calculation of running time schedules. • Cleanliness Of The Projection Room • Preparing The Film For Projection • Preventative Maintenance • Perfect Presentation • Fire / Safety / Security Procedures.
