EDITOR’S NOTE You never truly know what you can do until you do it. I remember always wanting to learn how to sew but I never took a class. I would take my designs to a seamstress and have her create my designs. One day after the birth of my second daughter I decided to purchase a sewing machine. I got the sewing machine and the rest is history. There are so many things we want to do but instead of trying it, we continue to put it off. I didn’t realize that after I took the leap that it would create an additional stream of income for me. God had already put on the inside of me everything I prayed for. Are you limiting your income because of fear? Are you limiting your potential because of uncertainty? This year we’ve decided to join Nike and just do it! Once we’ve received clearance from heaven, we are doing it afraid, broke, and broken if we have to. There will never be perfect conditions to do anything. You just have to make a decision to leave where you are, to get where you want to be tomorrow. Queen, it’s time to leap!

A TRIBUTE TO DMX THE “UNTRADITIONAL”
PROPHET
Written by: Tytecha Holliday, contact@inspiredtoimpact.com One of the greatest artists of my era, DMX, recently lost his battle to substance abuse. Many outlets have focused on his artistry as a lyrical masterpiece and his struggle with addiction. Still, few have spoken on his relationship with God, a relationship that he often vocalized openly. As I tearfully watched the powerful tribute from his loyal friend Swiss Beatz, it opened me up further to speak on a subject that genuinely spoke of his true character. That topic is his openness to acknowledge his closeness with God DMX wasn’t just your average artist; that was clear to see! He expressed his testimony of pain, distrust, and past traumas through his music. He was very transparent about his struggles with addiction and was never ashamed of speaking freely of its effects. He knew that his ugly truth through his music would touch the lives of many. His music was his sermon. When he prayed, he prayed with a sincere heart. He lived an unselfish life. He knew God placed him here on an assignment to touch people worldwide that the “traditional” church couldn’t. His ministry was on the streets, his sermons were through the music, and his testimony was his history of physical abuse, living in poverty, and his long road of substance abuse.
Ministry has a facelift. Many souls are robbed of deliverance due to the practice of tradition in the churches. Church culture has become a business operation rather than a place of refuge and deliverance. The message of deliverance now comes from the mouths of imperfect servants, in this case, DMX. God is placing ministry in those that are very much untraditional. Hence, the untraditional prophets are the very servants who are winning souls for Christ. Why? The message, the ugly truth, and transparency paint a picture opposite from the traditional church. Prophets don’t always come wearing a suit, standing in the pulpit, and holier than thou. The true prophets come bearing pain, a heart filled with unconditional love, and firsthand wisdom. And yes, addictions! These are the genuine people of God. True prophets are here on earth to gain nothing but to give everything, even if that means sacrificing their lives for Christ to show others His love for them despite their faults. This form of character was the true epitome of the life of DMX, the untraditional prophet. Rest in Heaven, DMX! You have finally gained your wings and the greatest gift of them all, eternal peace!

MEET BAHAMAS COVER QUEEN
NAKITA CASH I am a queen of many talents. I am a Bahamian multi entrepreneur. I am a registered nurse, image consultant, fashion stylist, life coach, financial coach, pageant coach, super model, photographer, clothing store owner, Youtuber, talk show host and the list goes on. Sometimes I forget just how many businesses I have going on because I am always starting a new business. I am building a legacy for my family. I went with the name Cash Empire because of course that is what I am trying to build; my very own empire. It has not been an easy road for me. For many years I struggled with depression and even had suicidal thoughts, but through the support of my parents, family and friends, I was not only able to completely change my own life, but is working to bless and change the lives of others as well. I suffered from depres-
sion and was going through a very hard time a few years ago and really was at the lowest point in my life where I didn’t even want to leave my bed or bathe. One night my mom had a dream about me and prophesied that I would become famous and travel the world. But at the time I just couldn’t see it happening. After a great desire to discover my purpose while battling depression, I cried out to God to reveal my divine purpose to me. On September 10, 2017, God revealed my purpose to me in a vivid dream that depicted me travelling around the world teaching people about health and wellness. The next day, Get Fit with Nick Family Fitness-The Dream Family Programme was born. Motto: Transforming bodies, minds and spirits. Getting families fit for life. Oprah Winfrey’s advice to turn your wounds into wisdom inspired me to be

all that God created me to me and that is why I am so many things and I am so ambitious. After months of my husband Jamaal Cash encouraging me to exercise to help me overcome depression, I finally mustered up the energy to get out of bed and get dressed. I drove to my mother’s house to take her to the park to exercise as she too was struggling with depression. On our first day at the park we immediately felt relaxed and happy. Within just a few minutes into the exercise our worries disappeared. Laughter, joy and happiness began to fill our lives. The fresh air, the sunlight and the view was so amazing. My mom Karen Robinson and I were laughing and began chanting Get Fit with Nick repeatedly. That same day we met a very nice gentleman, a Rastafarian, the Late Mikecus Bethel, who heard us chanting. He said he loved the name. I shared my vision

with him and he suggested I name the programme after the chant, and that’s how we got the name. Within the first month, Get Fit with Nick signed up 18 people. It was with the encouragement & support of people like my father David Ramsey, my sister in law Monique Cash, my mentor Keshelle Davis, my friends Anya Clarke and Annakay Seymour that made the launch of my programme possible. In January 2018, after just a few months of launching the programme, my husband and I made the decision not to charge participants which included motivational talks, health consultations and the exercise segments. By the end of January 2018, my husband and I took it even further and started a health club at our church Johnson Park Seventh-day Adventist Church, called Get Fit with Christ. In this way, the church became the first one to be a part of our family fitness programme. I was encouraged by my pastor, Leonardo Rahming, who came up with the health initiative for the church to motivate the members to collectively lose 1,000 pounds in 2018. Since then, members of other churches have joined us and hundreds of people have been a part of the programme. Lives have been changed forever. Many people often send us encouraging messages about
how their family members and friends have noticed the change in their bodies, minds and spirits. Many people have lost weight and are living healthy lifestyles. People have been encouraged to live their purpose and some have started businesses. The children look forward to family time and the programme builds unity and is for all ages and members of the family; the aim is to build better families, communities, a better Bahamas and a better world at large. Get Fit with Nick Family Fitness is such an amazing programme, that we instantly caught the attention of the media. Our story was featured in the Tribune Newspaper on April 6th 2018. The article was beautifully written by Felicity Darville. Get Fit with Nick Family Fitness has played a major role in helping me and others overcome depression and live healthy lives. It has also led me to establishing other businesses and now we have the Cash Empire which comprises of multi businesses. My friend Annakay Seymour has been a great help to me overcoming depression and starting The Cash Empire. She is a makeup artist, stylist and photographer. In 2017, we met and she started giving me makeovers to boost my confidence and spirit. We would record the transformation and post it
to social media and Annakay would say that man we need to do YouTube shows about makeovers, so I guess that’s how the idea for my Youtube Channel started which is named The Cash Empire. It did however take about 3 years for the idea to become reality. In 2019, I made the decision that I wanted to be debt-free. I made up in my mind that I was not going to let 2020 see me with debt and so I was finally able to pay off $53,722.42 worth of debt. My last payment was my credit card right before the New Year and 10 days before my 33rd birthday. On my 33rd birthday, I posted a photo of myself celebrating that I would be offering free financial coaching sessions to anyone. Through this initiative I have coached many people all over the world helping them to become debt free and start businesses to build their empires. I kept working on my dreams and recorded my first show on January 19th 2020. This date was very significant to me as I had just celebrated, 2 days prior, on the 17th January 2020, 10 years of fighting to overcome depression. As the 17th January 2010, I was diagnosed with depression for the very first time. So I hired the producers of Such a Pratt, La’donya & Ken Pratt to record my shows for me. La’donya is a registered nurse also and had just re-

signed from her fulltime job in December 2019 as a nurse to follow her dreams as a videographer and producer. I wanted to give La’donya a job because I know when you quit your job it is not easy. It was on the 17th December 2019, when I had we had our first discussion about the shows. I had posted a photo on social media of my first official makeover I had done for a client (Jacqueline DavisRolle) who is also a nurse. It was an amazing transformation and La’donya was very impressed. She had shared the makeover I did on her social media page and called me the fairy godmother for transforming people lives. I had gotten so much incredible feedback from this makeover I told La’donya that I wanted to meet with her very soon to discuss my makeover shows. So January 2nd2020, La’donya, Ken, my husband and I met at our house to discuss my shows for the first time and 17 days later on the 19th January 2020 we recorded our first show which was named #ShowTime Dream Makeovers by Nakita Cash. In this show, I did a makeover for two young queens who were twins. It was a major transformation. It was Ken idea to send the queens off on blind dates. This was a huge surprised for the queens. Everything went well on the first day of recording. But covid 19 meant that many of my plans had to be postponed. But I persisted with my goals
and on June 29th 2020, I recorded my second show #ShowTime Dream: Building Empires which I felt was more fitting to premier first during covid 19 and a pandemic because the world was in a financial crisis and a lot of jobs were lost. So I wanted to give people hope of how they could use their gifts and talents to create businesses and wealth for themselves and their family. The date this show was recorded was another very significant day for me as well. Two years prior, I had lost someone dear to me on the 29th June 2018 and had experienced great depression. But 2020, was my year of victory. On Sunday the 25th October 2020, #ShowTime Dream: Building Empires premiered for the first time and my life was changed forever. I use the catchphrase #ShowTime to say that big things are about to happen. I have been using this phrase since 2018, which was given to me in a vision by God and so that is what I decided to call my first show. All of my shows start with the words #ShowTime Dream, because I am the #ShowTime Boss Queen and these are my dreams. Dream is one of my favorite words. Most of my businesses have the word dream in their names. My first business that I started is called Dream Image Photography, my clothing store is Dream Smart Attire, my makeover business is Dream Makeovers by Nakita Cash and my fitness business
is Get Fit with Nick Family Fitness- The Dream Family Programme. The Cash Empire motto is Dream, Imagine & Build Your Empire- It’s #ShowTime. My very first show that premiered featured a fellow nurse who I coached, Martina Pennerman-Wilson, founder of Nails by Penny, #The Nail Nurse. When Nurse Pennerman-Wilson reached out to me, she was uncertain about her dreams. Just by looking at her I could tell that she was interested in the beauty field. I helped her to discover her divine purpose and now she is living her dreams as she has her own nail business. The morning after our show premiered, I woke up and saw we had almost 700 views. Within a few days we had over 1,000 views. I became an overnight celebrity and my life changed forever. Nurse Penny and I have gotten a lot of new clients from our show. People loved the show so much. Everyone was talking about our show. Two weeks later, I was contacted by the Tribune Newspaper so they could feature my story. On Friday the 13th November, 2020, I made headlines and was on the front page of the newspaper. My story was beautifully written by Cara Hunt, however it was another news reporter Felicity Darville that watched the premiered of my show and wanted to feature my story about the Cash Empire in the newspaper. God has a way of elevating me
I A M Q U E E N M AGA Z I N E - 30 -
in grand style. It was super spectacular when I woke up on Friday the 13th November 2020, and checked my phone and saw that Nurse Barbara Wilson had sent me the Tribune newspaper with my body on the front page. My story made headlines and this was unbelievable and surreal. Even, the news reporter Felicity Darville was amazed and said she didn’t know my story would have made headlines. She said it is so rare that my story made headlines. Presently our first show #ShowTime Dream: Building Empires has over 1600 views. We have premiered other shows as well such as #ShowTime Dream Giveaways, #ShowTime Dream Makeovers by Nakita Cash, #ShowTime Dream: The CEOs, The Journey to The Cash Empire and 2020 Year of The Nurse Tribute. A total of 9 shows have premiered on The Cash Empire. And we have over 500 subscribers. I think my shows have been successful because I remain my true self. I am very real and I may not talk proper. I use Bahamian dialect and some people think that I need to be more formal on the show, but I want it to be natural and I think people see that I am just a real person and they can relate to that. I continue to dream big. I want to expand the Cash Empire even further and continue to assist people in
every way possible. Already I have given away thousands of dollars in cash and prizes on my show to help others build their own empires and realize their dreams. Looking forward, I want to create makeover opportunities for persons struggling with illnesses. For example, we have a lot of persons with diseases such as mental illness & diabetes and they may not have the money after treatment or the energy to fix themselves up. So I would love to use my skills as an image consultant and fashion stylist to help them with a makeover to boast their spirits, use my skills as a photographer to take their photos and then also use my experience as a nurse to assist them with their health needs as well as a total makeover. I would also love to give homeless people makeovers as well and help rehabilitate them, provide homes for them and find jobs for them or help them to figure out their gifts and talents and start businesses. I am passionate about helping the homeless because I know what it feels like to be evicted from homes. During my childhood many times my mom, my sister and I were evicted from homes and we were almost homeless. Thank God for the good people that took us in to their homes because my mom wasn’t working and couldn’t afford to pay rent or sometimes buy food for us. As a child I would dream
of escaping poverty and becoming rich and famous to help my family and other people around the world. I would watch a lot of celebrity shows, makeover shows, talk shows and pageants and envision my future of being like these people. These were my passion from a child. I never like cartoons. Now I have my own talk shows. My childhood of watching makeover shows and pageants was what really inspired me also to do a makeover shows. And my makeup artist Felicia ‘Fefe’ Rolle owner of Brush Touch by Fefe has also inspired me to do makeover shows. I met Felicity in 2018 and she has been doing my makeup ever since. Every time I seat in her chair all of my depressions goes away. I love the feeling when I look in the mirror and she the billionaire queen she transforms me into. Yes I always look and feel like a billionaire after each makeover transformation. And one day I am going to be a billionaire, like Oprah Winfrey. I want to be one of the richest women in the world. Some people like my husband and friends are already calling me Oprah Winfrey. They say I am giving so much cash and gifts like Oprah Winfrey does on her show. Yes Oprah is my mentor and I aspire to be just like her. Some people even say I am giving more cash and gifts than what millionaires gives away. They say I will forever be blessed. There are so many things

that I am passionate about. Some of the things I am my passionate about are solving problems such as poverty and helping people to gain financial freedom, eradicating homelessness, preventing and decreasing non-communicable diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, cancer, asthma and mental illness. My overall passion is helping people to live their divine purpose and become all that God created them to be. We are all here on this earth for a great purpose. I am passionate about breaking generational curses and uplifting, motivating and inspiring people to become their best self. Finally, I would like to thank everyone who has helped me become the queen I am today. I would also like to thank Queen Elle Clarke & her team for blessing me with this opportunity to be a cover queen in this I am Queen Magazine. It’s so ironic that I always wear a crown on my head when taking most of my photos. I also call myself and other women queens all the time. Now, God has given me this opportunity to be a cover queen in a magazine called I am Queen. This is a huge blessing to me. I always wanted to be a celebrity from a child. I was

always fascinated by looking at the celebrities on the front covers of magazines, but never in a billion years I would imagined that I would be in a magazine and even more amazing that I would be on the front cover of a magazine. This is one of the greatest moments of my life. I appeal to all readers to live your dreams no matter what. Work on your dreams everyday and never give up. Growing up and even as an adult, people always laughed at me and told me that my dreams won’t come true. But every day I prove them wrong. Now they look up to me and wants to know my secrets to making my dreams come true. Life is very strange. These same people now have to book appointments with me for my coaching sessions. If you want me to help you transform your life, you can book a session with me for life coaching and financial coaching. Or you can be a sponsor of my shows and programmes to help me transform the lives of others and help them to build their empire.
