TENFACE Going Beyond Ordinary A
s one of Southeast Asia’s hub for travel, tourism and almost anything leisure related, Bangkok is home to a never-ending list of accommodations. As with any popular metropolis, the market for all things highend and luxurious continues to grow and expand into areas once considered unimaginable. From Silom and Surawongse to Thong Lor and Ekamai, even the darkest corners of the city center offer some sort of trendy up-market venue to call home for a few nights. And, while the average visitor is spoiled blind for choice, every now and again comes a concept so original and creative, it’s almost impossible to not notice.

TENFACE Serviced Residence Bangkok was inspired from the ancient Sanskrit epic Ramayana. The property’s namesake is the ten-faced giant demon King Tosakan from the tale. With 10 times the amount of features than the average man including 20 hands and feet, the character embodies superiority, as he has the ability to see, do and perform beyond anyone else. “This concept is symbolic to an extraordinary stay at TENFACE”, explains General Manager Prakard Tantiprasertsuk. Designed by IAW, one of the countries most prominent design firms, just about every detail within these
serviced apartments is consistent with the ancient Ramayana epic. Interior designer and architect Vitoon Kunalungkarn hand painted the many giant figures, characters, decorations and graphics from the story throughout the property’s lobby, hallways, and restaurants. TENFACE offers 78 units, which include: One-Bedroom Suites (69-75 sqm), Two-Bedroom Suites (110 sqm), Two-Bedroom Premier Suites (125 sqm) and the TENFACE Suite (142 sqm). Before accessing any of the available residences, guests pass through dark crimson hallways accompanied by minimal lighting, which create a sense of mystery. The simplistic theme of light versus dark running throughout the property’s common areas is also found inside each of the units. As we stepped inside the spacious two-bedroom suite, we were greeted with a mix of Thai and western décor. The traditional Pakon walls adorn the living room area and display a number of hand painted characters and Thai numerical drawings.
