Personal Computer Services Nottingham, PCSN, is an independent, local company that offers I.T, PC, internet and networking services.
Local small businesses, families and individuals.
The company has a current logo, website and business cards, but they are in much need of a refresh, to bring them up to date and reflect the personal, friendly and professional nature of the business, and ultimately attract more customers.
An updated logo, applied across a range of print and screen materials:
Create a set of branded materials that capture the character and personality of PCSN.
Conveying a tone of a friendly, personal and accessible local company.

A type driven logotype is the prominant feature throughout, with the other identity elements lifted from this, such as the repeat patterns.
At present, PCSN’s primary website serves only as a directed-to source of information, business is not received via the site.
Besides the website, the design is also applied on to a CD label and personalised USB pen, as these are both relevant to the client, their work and customer.
Three variations of the letter and business card were produced, each with a different back. The invoice was pre-printed with company information.
The new site adapts the style of the printed materials, using the same type, colour, and visual elements, such as the background. The format and layout are also the same.
As the letterheads need to be editable and usable, and PCSN being a small business without special means of editing and printing, templates had to be created in Microsoft Office ready to type into and print.

Consideration had to be taken when translating the work from design software to office.
