Ian Kennedy

Artist/curator Ian Kennedy has been making and collecting jewelry and art all his life, working with his Grandmother Ruby in the Native American Indian Antique Shop she and his Grandfather ran until her passing in 1990. And also with his Grandfather George, who first taught Ian how to bead on a loom around age 9 and how to solder and finish Gold and Silver at 21. After achieving a Fine Art degree in Photography, Ian returned to his rural Southwestern American plains roots and continued to apprentice in his family's business under George. Having inherited his Grandmother Ruby's eye for quality and beauty in items he honors her legacy. Inspired by his family's love of the American West and their appreciation of its culture, history, and art. He seeks fashionable treasures to offer you, weaving them into the RUBY + GEORGE story.
