Car Broker Spain in Benijofar have been successfully treating cars with JetWax©, the polymer paint sealant, for the last 2 years and now they have a new, more advanced product to offer, JetWax Pro©. Normal car paint finishes have a hardness rating of between 2H and 4H. This sapphire crystal compound, suspended in liquid, once cured, has a hardness level of 9H which seals your original paint work with a high gloss, super slick, hydrophobic finish that protects your paint from dirt-burn, minor scratches, gives UV protection and makes the car easier to clean. Prior to treating the car, the vehicle is cleaned by hand and any minor surface scratches are removed using a fine polishing compound. JetWax Pro© is applied and then "buffed" up. This process is repeated and all done by hand to avoid any machine "swirl" marks in the paint. After care is so easy! Next time you want to clean your car simply jet wash it with demineralized water. THE MOTORSPORT MONTH by Richard O'Rourke 2017 F1 - The Bahrain GP Was full of incident and was edge of the seat stuff right to the very end. Ferrari were 1-2 on the grid and were set fair for a successful race particularly as Hamilton was down in 9th following a gearbox change. All was going to plan for the red cars until Raikkonen’s pit stop when a mix-up saw him leave early and knock over a mechanic in the process. His car was now shod with an odd combination of tyres as the rear left was never changed so this led to instant retirement. The poor mechanic suffered a broken leg and was shipped to hospital and the decision was made to leave Vettel out on his now well-worn tyres and see if he could make them last to the finish. This he did with a superb drive and with Bottas breathing down his neck but never close enough to pass and Hamilton in a distant third. Pierre Gasly in the Toro Rosso was the star of the race finishing fourth with Hass, McLaren and Sauber/Alfa Romeo also scoring points. China was next on the menu and a reversal of fortune saw Daniel Ricciardo score a remarkable win for Red Bull Racing. The Ferraris were once again on the front row but Bottas got between them and scuppered their pit stop strategy.
Hamilton was having another off-day and could only manage fourth but this result nevertheless reduced Vettel’s championship lead.
MOTO GP The Argentina Moto GP was a farce at the start of the race when all the riders except the pole sitter, Jack Miller, left the track with minutes to go to the start.
Speculation has already started regarding Ricciardo’s future as his contract with Red Bull terminates this year. Will he stay at Red Bull and will they change to Honda power or will he pack his bags and head to either Ferrari or Mercedes?
They decided that they needed to change from wet to dry set up in the drying conditions and threw the rule book out the window in doing so. They should have started from the pit lane but force of numbers prevailed and they were allowed to reform on the grid.
WRC Great things were expected of Sebastien Loeb in Corsica but an uncharacteristic error saw him retire early on when he slipped off the road and landed his car in a ditch.
More drama followed when Marquez stalled and then having started the race illegally pushed Rossi of the track for which he incurred a penalty.
Meanwhile the other Seb, of the Ogier variety, had driven off into the distance in his Ford Fiesta and had such a comfortable lead after the first day that he could afford to cruise through Saturday and Sunday to take an untroubled victory. Neuville (Hyundai) and Meeke (Citroen) were involved in a great battle for second place but a rare pace note error by co-driver Paul Nagle caused Meeke to crash and end his rally.
The Toyotas were flying after a few suspension tweeks and Tanak in particular was well on the pace and overtook Neuville for second. The Belgian was fortunate to hold on to third as his engine was misfiring badly Mercedes then added insult to injury by bringing Bottas in for an early stop and the on the final stage but he made it to the end and scored enough points to maintain his undercut worked a treat pushing Vettel championship second place behind the down to second place. A safety car relentless Ogier. following a clash between the two Toro Rossos saw the Red Bulls do a doubleshuffle pit stop and on fresh soft tyres Ricciardo shot into the lead with some magnificent overtaking manoeuvers.
Meanwhile up at the front Cal Crutchlow was leading on his LCR Honda and he crossed the line ahead of Johann Zarco (Ducati) and Alex Rinz (Suzuki). The USA Moto GP was a much less controversial affair and the villain of Argentina became the hero (sort of ) when Marc Marquez (Honda) led from half way through the first lap to the finish, well ahead of the chasing pack which was led by the Yamaha of Maverick Vinales and the factory Suzuki of Andrea Iannone. The booing of Marquez on the podium shows how he is held in such low esteem because of his ‘win at all costs’ tactics but there is no doubting his talent and he is already on course for another title this year.
Verstappen tried the same trick but while the Aussie was using a scalpel the Dutchman was using a cudgel and he ran into Vettel’s Ferrari causing both of them to spin and pushing Vettel down to eighth place.

Sierra de Espuña This regional Park was the first area of Murcia to be given "protected status" in 1930 and really is one of it´s "not so hidden gems" It doesn´t discretely nestle so much as "Towers over" the surrounding countryside, lol! The Park is easily accessible from both Totana and Alhama de Murcia, sitting as it does behind and between them, while inland to the west lie Pliego and Mula. It´s actually quite small comparatively speaking being ´just´ 25,000 hectares. named after it´s highest mountain, Espuña (1583 meters) the park has 20 Peaks of over 1,000 meters!

The Ricardo Codornia Centre is worth a visit, look out for signs for El Berro once inside the park, and whilst you´re there take some photos at the nearby Mirador de la Cabaña. Yep, The Park is great destination. But as Arrowsmith said...Life´s a journey not a destination... and this is about riding. So as you know by now, we don´t go directly to ANYWHERE! LOL! No!! We look for the "squiggly bits" on the map and head for them. OK; Fortuna. Depending on where you start from, this is either a pleasant ride or merely the beginning of what is going to be a great ride. Head out of Fortuna towards Fenezar and Archena on the swooping roller coaster of a road that is the RM-411. BE WARNED! It is extremely easy to be going "Oh my God, we´re going to jail!" speeds before you realise it on this stretch; so keep an eye on the speedo. Near Archena, follow signs for Yechar and Mula on the MU-530..a lovely bit of tarmac. At Mula, stay on the by-pass until you see signs for the park and Pliego via the RM-515.

At the T-Junction, hang a left onto the MU-503. This takes you through the far northern corner of the park boundary, watch out for the road surface and also the big (and by big, I mean HUGE!) Barbary Sheep and mountain goats etc as the track twists and turns through the forest´s edge. You can´t go too fast here, but need to concentrate as the sign for the entrance to the Park "proper" is small and easily missed. Turning left, you are now well and truly "in" the Park and begin to climb almost immediately. Up, up, up and then..up some more! Switchbacks abound and the road is narrow and VERY uneven so be careful, vehicles coming down can be going a fair lick and the wooden "barriers" (where present!) will NOT prevent you from taking up base jumping without a chute!
At the top there’s enough room to park up and enjoy the truly panoramic vistas both east and westwards, while gathering your wits together ready for the equally challenging descent. Suitably refreshed and rested you start back down the other side.
