With Clare Lawrence Luke Mustoo was born on the 18th of February in 1988, which makes him 22 years old. His full name is Luke David Charles Mustoe. He is British and lives in Spain. He started karting at the young age of six and he moved to Spain when he was just eight. He has lots of racing experience under his belt in online simulators and also actual real automotive practice. Thank you for accepting my offer of an interview Luke, I hope that this is the start of many to come! Hello Luke! Let’s go back to your childhood if we may… When did you first realise that you had a love of racing cars? As far back as I can remember... My first experience of motor racing was when I was 15 months old at Brands Hatch, my parents used to take me to as many BTCC meetings as possible. I started karting when I was about 4. Can you give me a particular day that sticks in your mind as a turning point for you racing?
Do you speak much Spanish Luke? More Spanish than English really... I have been over here so many years now, I feel more confident speaking Spanish than English. Who is your racing idol? Andy Priaulx. The three time WTCC Champion has been racing at the top level of Touring Car racing among other series for many years. I've meet him on various occasions and he is a very approachable, down to earth person.
The very first time I participated in a trial for the Spanish Legend Car series back in 2006. There were 150 participants of which I finished 25th, it was then that I started to believe in myself & ever since I have taken every opportunity to further my skills & pursue my dream.
Are there any other sports that you are as enthusiastic about?
What brought you to Spain?

Would you say that racing is in your blood?
Not to my knowledge, there haven't been any racing drivers in my family in the past. My parents are both into Motor Racing but have never done any racing themselves.
Thanks loads Luke; both for your time and for making the effort to answer my questions! Good luck for the future and I hope that you continue to do well.

Having participated in the 2nd meeting of the ECOSeries del Jarama 2010, driving a Mini Challenge (Mini Cooper S John Cooper Works version). I achieved this by participating in a trial organized by Drivex Racing School, they were looking for 2 drivers for this meeting, there were over 250 entries for the trial and to be one of the 2 drivers picked was quite an achievement. The race meeting very short, it was all over within 4-5 hours, after a 15 minute practice session we went straight into qualifying where I finished 10th of 24. Both races went quite well and I was able to finish 8th in the first and 10th in the second.
