THE FIRST Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University is a subsidiary of Zhengzhou University, a public university located in Zhengzhou, China. The hospital boasts an impressive 7,000 beds and an annual revenue of 7.5 billion Yuan in 2014, and considers itself to be the largest hospital in the world. It was originally founded in September 1928 in Kaifeng, the former capital of Henan province, under the name First Affiliated Hospital of National Henan University. In 1958, it was relocated to Zhengzhou and renamed as the First Affiliated Hospital of Henan Medical College. After the merger of Zhengzhou University, Zhengzhou Institute of Technology, and Henan Medical University in 2000, the hospital was renamed to its current name. ■
