The International Association of Rights and Freedoms is following up the developments of the situation in Gaza where the civilians are targeted by the Zionist entity and the international community is ignoring the UN obligations that require protecting the civilians. The Association expresses its denunciation and condemns this brutal aggression and the international silence which strengthened the state of immunity of the Zionist entity and impunity when it committed gross violations against the rules of international law, and encouraged the occupation forces to commit more crimes against innocent people as long as it enjoys with the immunity against prosecution and punishment. The military attacks that were launched by the Zionist entity against the population of Gaza in which it used various internationally banned weapons and its latest advanced military capabilities, deliberating the shelling of Palestinian houses to kill the innocent population such as children, the elderly and women which is considered, internationally, to be a collective punishment , a crime against humanity and a violation of the Geneva agreements related to the protection of Civilians in the time of War in 1949 and their two additional Protocols in 1977. The Association demands the Human Rights Council in line with its relevant obligations, to interfere immediately ,to convene an emergency session to discuss the repercussions of the aggression on Gaza, to take firm decisions against it, to investigate its crimes against the innocent, and to punish the perpetrators of these violations against civilians. The Association also calls upon the United Nations to interfere and work on immediate stopping of indiscriminate aggression on Gaza Strip and to provide protection for civilians as the number of victims of the aggression on the Gaza Strip reached to more than 100 killed and more than 600 wounded and the outcome is likely to rise unless an urgent UN intervention. The Association stresses on the role of the governments of Arab and Islamic countries in this field and calls them to move quickly to protect the people of Gaza ,in front of them ,the Egyptian regime, which we call upon it to take its human responsibility in order to lift the blockade on Gaza and open the door in front of humanitarian assistances, especially with the massive amount of victims and injured amid international warnings from the collapse of the health system due to the inability to accommodate the growing numbers of wounded every hour because of the indiscriminate shelling of the Zionist entity.
