“You can take it from me that you and your school have inspired us. This has been really valuable for us and I hope that some of the recommendations that we make will come out of our visit to your school and will be in the interests of the people of Australia. “ I think I speak on behalf of the committee: I cannot believe the depth of knowledge that your students have about civics and the history of our country. We have taken evidence from a number of schools. I do not think we have had a class who had the depth of knowledge that your students have. atCommittee a JointEven Standing Mr Lindsay, Chairperson senior level.” 29 September, 2006
