La última innovación en medidores de potencia POWER LT es el nuevo medidor de potencia de ROTOR. Dotado de una extraordinaria ligereza, hereda la tecnología y diseño de su actual sistema de entrenamiento por potencia POWER de ROTOR. POWER LT es el resultado de la estrecha colaboración con el equipo UCI Pro Lampre-Merida, que necesitaba de ROTOR un potenciómetro aún más ligero y más fácil de usar y que soportara la exigencia máxima de su uso en competición por los mejores ciclistas profesionales.

Q-Rings? Platos ovales para incrementar el rendimiento A través de la historia de ROTOR varios ciclistas y triatletas profesionales han elegido los Q-Rings. Entre muchas de sus victorias encontramos oros Olímpicos, el escalón más alto del podio en el Tour de France, más de veinticinco victorias en competiciones Ironman y más de veinte campeonatos mundiales entre Mountain Bike, Carretera, Contrarreloj y Ciclocross hablan por sí solos. Los estudios biomecánicos indican que con la utilización de Q-Rings el esfuerzo es transformado en rendimiento y eficiencia del pedaleo. Los Q-Rings compensan las ineficiencias en el pedaleo maximizando la utilización de los músculos en la zona de más potencia del pedaleo y minimizándola en las zonas de punto muerto. Encuentra la posición Óptima de tus platos
El cambio de platos redondos a Q-Rings es sencillo, a pesar de que requieren un periodo de adaptación los beneficios se aprecian desde el principio. Los Q-Rings utilizan los músculos de las piernas de diferente manera que los redondos y por ese motivo necesitan adaptarse a la nueva y eficiente forma de pedaleo, es un proceso apenas perceptible y que ocurre naturalmente y sin cambios repentinos. El ciclista se sentirá progresivamente más cómodo con los Q-Rings. Sin siquiera pensarlo él o ella estará aplicando su fuerza de manera más eficiente y a la vez protegiendo sus rodillas de posibles lesiones. El ajuste OCP permite variar el ángulo en el que los Q-Rings ofrecen la resistencia, ajustándolo en el punto preciso en el que ciclista aplica la máxima potencia durante el giro de las bielas. El sistema OCP dota a los Q-Rings de 20º de variación angular entre el primer y último punto de ajuste, para así poder optimizar cada pedalada. Los Q-Rings y QXL de carretera cuentan con 5 OCP, los Q-Rings de MTB cuentan con 3 OCP, las arañas micro ajustables (O MAS, de serie en bielas FLOW, POWER y opcionales en 3D+) duplican el número de puntos de ajuste.

MAS reduce el ángulo de ajuste entre puntos OCP en 2,5 grados. Un ajuste preciso se realiza después de varias horas de uso, la posición exacta no está determinada por la altura o el peso, sino más bien por el estilo de pedaleo y la distribución muscular del ciclista. Antes de cambiar el punto (en caso de que sea necesario), lo mejor es
realizar un rodaje de por lo menos 10hs en el anterior. Comenzando en la posición intermedia, #3 una vez terminado el periodo de adaptación y en el caso de la aparición de algún síntoma es posible que se tenga que cambiar el OCP. Es recomendable hacerlo punto por punto, subiendo o bajando solo un punto cada vez

presenta los nuevos platos concebidos para Cyclocross Existe un tipo de ciclista que consigue superarse en un entorno que otros considerarían “feo”. Un tipo de ciclista que empuja su cuerpo hasta los límites, y que sufre forzando sus piernas con una cadencia vertiginosa. Hablamos de un ciclista “enganchado” al ciclocross de tal forma que otro formato de carrera sólo le sirve para seguir entrenando y mejorando para “cross”. Rotor ha diseñado los platos QCX1 para este rider. Los nuevos QCX1 son compatibles con todas las bielas de BCD 110, especialmente las de Rotor 3D+ y 3D30. El montaje de los platos no requiere desmontar el juego de bielas de la bicicleta, permitiendo la selección del desarrollo idóneo de forma mucho más sencilla. Un diseño de los dientes con un perfil que alterna grueso/fino, y concebidos para “single speed” consigue que la cadena no se salga ni en las peores condiciones sin la necesidad de utilizar guíacadenas. Concepto de pedalier universal El concepto UBB funciona con la mayoría de los sistemas de pedalieres, eliminando para siempre la complicada compatibilidad entre bielas y pedalieres, permitiendo montar casi cualquier biela ROTOR con eje de 30mm o 24mm en prácticamente todos los cuadros del mercado, independientemente del tipo de pedalier que utilicen.
Araña micro ajustable “MAS” son las siglas de Micro Adjust Spider (araña con micro ajustes). MAS ofrece más: más opciones de ajuste con el plato Q-Ring, gracias a sus agujeros extra, que duplican los puntos de ajuste del sistema OCP, para multiplicar por dos la exactitud y precisión. Las bielas ROTOR más sofisticadas están disponibles con una Micro Adjust Spider.

APPROPRIATE LIGHTWEIGHT MATERIAL APPLICATION Para ROTOR el A.L.M.A. (Appropiate Lightweight Material Application) de cualquier producto está en el material. Esta motivación guía siempre la búsqueda de los mejores materiales para que los productos ofrezcan siempre el mayor rendimiento. La resistencia y calidad de los productos proviene de un largo proceso de diseño en el que la elección del material es un factor clave.
BIELAS EQUILIBRADAS El Twin Leg Concept es la idea de ofrecer un conjunto de bielas equilibradas. ¿De qué serviría hacer una biela ultra rígida (la que va directamente conectada a la araña MAS), si la otra, la izquierda, no está a su altura? En ROTOR las bielas son un conjunto, no se tratan por separado, y por ello se consigue que sean más equilibradas que el resto de bielas.
SISTEMA DE TRIPLE VACIADO Las bielas CNC de ROTOR son más rígidas que las que ofrece el mercado. Esto es así gracias al Trinity Drilling System o sistema de triple vaciado. Tres taladros que las vacían de lado a lado dan como resultado una estructura similar a la de los puentes. Así, la rigidez de las bielas resulta superior, el peso del componente no aumenta, y así se consigue una excelente relación entre peso y resistencia.
FUNCTIONAL SOLUTION DESIGN Soluciones. Junto con rendimiento, quizás sea la palabra que mejor define la filosofía de diseño de ROTOR. Los productos ROTOR nacen y evolucionan como solución a cada problema o necesidad detectada en los ciclistas, para ello el equipo de ROTOR busca siempre las soluciones más eficientes, obteniendo como resultado productos mejorados y optimizados.
