THE STORY CONTINUES This 12-week course studies the life and teaching of Jesus of Nazareth and the establishment of Christianity as a separate religion. It will cover the following:          

Books of the Christian Scriptures Formation of the canon and components of the Christian Scriptures Highlights of Jesus’ ministry His methods of instruction – parables, miracles, expositions and discourses The impact of his teaching Betrayal, abandonment, trial and crucifixion His legacy The continuation of Jesus’ work Paul’s contribution to the establishment and growth of Christianity Persecution, resistance and instruction of the new initiate

III METHODOLOGY The Webinar format using Webex will be used for:


   

Individual and group presentations Class discussions Review sessions One-on-one discussions

For the purposes of group work, students will be divided into groups, the number of which will be determined by the number of persons registered for the course, and be given group assignments. Each student is encouraged to pursue individual research via the Internet and other means to supplement prescribed reading
