GENECY BACHINSKI The Director of FAMAP spends most of her time acting as a facilitator of learning, promoting people’s personal and professional development. Talking about female entrepreneurship in Brazil and around the world is talking about challenges such as prejudices, double journeys, self-confidence, among others. Even so, the insertion of women in various sectors is gaining more attention due to the changes it promotes, both in the economy and in society in general, mainly through the empowerment that encourages other women and transforms realities. The GEM 2018 (Global Entrepreneurship Monitor), the main research on entrepreneurship in the world, with data from 49 countries, pointed Brazil in seventh place in the ranking of the proportion of women ahead of initial enterprises, that is, those with less than 42 months of existence. Among the sectors in which they undertake the most are beauty, fashion, and food, but regardless of their area of activity, personal satisfaction is one of the main causes that lead them to undertake. Working with purpose, making a difference, and loving what you do. This is Genecy Bachinski, the woman at the head of Faculdade Máster Parauapebas (FAMAP), in the state of Pará. Psychologist, Administrator, Master’s Student in Personal Coaching and Organizational Leadership, she always knew that her goal was to spread knowledge. “I have always been fascinated by knowledge”, she emphasizes. The love for education is what moves this entrepreneur who stands out for her surprising trajecABRIL 2021

tory. Daughter of a gold miner from Serra Pelada, in Serra dos Carajás (PA), studies were her weapons to prosper, in addition to the audacity to assume and take risks in favor of her development. Her performance in the educational field involved passages in kindergarten, elementary and high school, also dedicating herself to social causes and important projects, such as the implementation of the project for drug addicts Vida Nova, in Goiânia, at the Life Valorization Center (CVV) was a volunteer psychologist in suicide prevention, at the Association of Exceptional Parents and Friends of Parauapebas (APAE) implemented the project to diversify the service to all inmates, contributed to the implementation of DETRAN Parauapebas, joined the staff of teachers at the Municipal School of Education Elementary Paulo Fonteles de Lima, founded the Escola Janela Para o Mundo in Parauapebas, participates in the social work of the city’s Rotary Club and contributes to educational projects in institutions in other municipalities. The culmination of Genecy Bachinski’s successful journey was the foundation of Private On-Site Higher Education in Parauapebas, Xinguara, and Tucumã. The Faculdade Máster Parauapebas (FAMAP) offers on-site courses in Psychology, Law, Nursing, Administration, Pharmacy, Nutrition, and Business Management. T

he trajectory of Eduardo Magalhães, a physiotherapist recognized by publications in the largest Physiotherapy magazines in the world and with four national and two international awards of reference in the Rehabilitation Area, is marked by determination. A clinician in the area of Musculoskeletal Rehabilita-

tion, specialized, master and doctoral candidate in Orthopedic Rehabilitation, Eduardo started his career in 2006, when he became a young entrepreneur at 23, opening his clinic in the city of São Paulo, without financial resources, with his face and courage, as the popular saying goes. At the same time, he divided his time

teaching postgraduate courses and lectures throughout Brazil. The committed commitment and the will to prosper have led the business to excellence. Three years after the inauguration of the clinic, Eduardo Magalhães achieved financial independence, a full schedule, and became an authority in the capital of São Paulo. To solve the existing liabilities, the office makes available the work of union negotiation to obtain the settlement of the existing liabilities, directly with employees and the union representative of the category. Through collective agreements, LS Advogados strives for companies to obtain better conditions for resolving disputes. The sector specialized in union negotiations provides full support to the client, being responsible for the initial contact, assistance in the preparation of proposals, and direct representation in the negotiation procedures until the respective conclusion. ow to supply a country with a continental extension, like Brazil? How to transport cargo from north to south, safely and efficiently, following strict deadlines and different standards? The answer lies in the road modal, responsible for transporting 65% of everything consumed in Brazil. With various infrastructure problems, cargo needs to circulate from ports and filling stations to the most distant locations through an extensive road network. But how to make this transport safely both for cargo and for drivers? The answer to this question, very common among carriers and shippers, lies in technology, mainly to manage risk. Risk management Risk management is one of the most important activities in the supply chain, as explained by Eliel Fernandes, CEO of Buonny, one of the most important companies in the segment, operating since 1995. In recent decades, the company has invested heavily in technology and professional training to offer the best and most modern solutions for the prevention and mitigation of cargo theft and theft. he medical vocation of the then young André Evaristo Marcondes, son of an orthopedist father and a pediatrician mother, was in the genes. Attached to 2000, when he entered medical school, he knew he needed to be among the best in his field, both from a technical point of view and in terms of distinct and personalized care for each patient. This led to an intense and continuous path of dedication. The choice of orthopedics and spinal surgery was due to the challenge and opportunity to study the nobility of this structure, where nerve cells communicate with the brain and promote movement and sensitivity to the limbs connected to it. Ten years later, on the verge of becoming a Master of Public Health at the University of Limerick, Ireland, he saw one of his projects run for a European award, for calling attention to the cause of Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis: A Disease That Affects 4% of the world population, but from the early diagnosis, it will be carried out simply in their own schools or even at home, can prevent the problem from worsening. In the performance of his work, Dr. André Evaristo always uses a way to contribute to science and medicine: he participates in scientific research, periodically publishes articles that collaborate with the international medical network, and always exercised an observant eye to optimize processes. This characteristic led him to develop the “Rugina de Marcondes”, a surgical instrument that speeds up procedures, especially in interventions on the intervertebral discs, which reduces the patient’s exposure time to the risks inherent in surgeries. 1. How was the creation

of the company and its history? What are the main challenges? I have been working in foreign trade for 15 years with the company Box Brasil. Her family started to ship products from Brazil to Japan. Like most shopkeepers who live outside Brazil, they started with few products and small boxes initially selling to friends and factory colleagues, and soon opened their first store. But following the difficulty from buying here in Brazil at wholesale to shipping, as they did not know exporting. At that time, shopkeepers in Brazil had many difficulties in shipping to other countries. Basic shipping difficulties, from information, necessary documentation, customs issues, or even the quantity of goods, the view was that shipments should be made in containers or large quantities. Everything was very difficult so she started studying this subject. Over time she studied and acquired knowledge in foreign trade and changed the company as needed. For a long time, she only attended to her family and some friends of her sister who were shopkeepers in Japan. Realized that there was an unexplored market that people did not know, which is fast transport, and without the bureaucracy that Box

Brasil, she decided to open the company’s services not only to retailers but to everyone who needs shipments, regardless of the size of the shipment if it was an envelope or tons and not just for Japan but over 200 countries. this is one of our great differentials, we serve from shopkeepers to ladies and grandparents who want to send gifts to their grandchildren who are far away. We identified in all of them the need, in addition to providing excellent service, to have the feeling of talking to a friend. 8. Tell us about future projects and

countries that Box Brasil will attend. Our project is to make the company even better known, we are well known in Japan, where the marketing was the indication (famous word of mouth), where everything started, but this year we are working a lot with new tools, using the most diverse resources and we have already started to enter new countries, such as the United States, Portugal, France, England, among others. We search in each one of them to locate the needs, always with as much information as possible about each one, to offer our clients, even more, all the support they need.

The importance of motivational and training videos for HR A well-aligned team is capable of moving, positively, with the entire structure of a company. And one of the tools that have contributed to this is motivational and training videos, which are widely used by HR departments. According to the director of BiFilmes, Rodnei Vasconcelos, as the human resources sector needs to act strategically, engaging and improving the performance of employees, many companies are investing in video production. For 12 years the 1st place in ENEM in Niterói, GayLussac stands out among the 50 best educational institutions in Brazil tradition and innovation

I

n the year 1954, GayLussac Vestibulares was emerging in the educational scene of Niterói/RJ. The course quickly gained notoriety at the hands of its founder Renato Garcia de Freitas. The 136 approvals in Medicine and another 105 in Engineering anticipated the promising future of the course initially installed on the premises of Colégio Batista de Niterói. Credibility and trust The last few years have been one of the great changes for Medvida Brasil. At an accelerated pace, the company has become one of the largest in the Northeast, in its segment, and the fastest growing in the region. Created in 1999, in Maceió (AL), the company has not long started a reformulation of its business strategy and a process of expansion of activities. The first important move was coming to Bahia, in 2019, expanding its clientele and its service network, which has a variety of clinics, laboratories, and hospitals of different sizes. Wherever it goes, the public has received its products so well that the increase in the number of beneficiaries in the last two years has been multiplied by a thousand. The com-

pany, which was already a reference in the State of Alagoas, started as Medvida Saúde and the name changed to Medvida Brasil to accompany the new phase, that it intends to be national in the medium term. The first steps have already been taken, with a presence today in four states. In addition to Alagoas and Bahia, Pernambuco and Sergipe were added and the implementation of service in São Paulo, Piauí, and Maranhão is being finalized. At this rate, in December, the company will close 2021 with a presence in five states more than when it started the year, reaching nine units of the federation. The leadership of Medvida Brasil in this decisive period is in the hands of CEO Magno Luis Mascarenhas, 39, an executive who has

been in the position for two years. He has a degree in Administration and Tourism, an MBA in Health Management and Health Sciences, and a Doctor Honoris Causa certification in People Management. He has been working in the area for over 15 years, in several Brazilian states and has been enthusiastic about the company’s transformation and adaptation to nationalization, without losing its identity. Part of Medvida Brasil’s work takes place outside the supplement health area, properly, to embrace social projects. Supporting social projects means Medvida working on a broader concept of health, a culture in which people take care of themselves, are better prepared, and less sick. With this direction, the operator has signed several partnerships with football, kart, jiu-jitsu, and judo sports associations. Two of the company’s directors come from this experience in the Itapagipe Peninsula, in Salvador. Magno Mascarenhas himself and CFO Luiz Augusto Buente were judo practitioners in their teens, in the same place where they currently house hundreds of boys through a partnership between Medvida Brasil and the Itapagipano Judo Club. The executive defends that sport is the biggest promoter of inclusion and socialization of underprivileged youths in Brazil.

IT ASSET MANAGEMENT IN CLOUD WITH GEOLOCATION Founded in 1998, Pointware Informática started its software developer activities (electronic point systems and access control). In 2000, the company developed Easy Inventory, aiming to meet a need for most companies, which is to control your IT assets. In 2015 they launched the new version of Easy Inventory, to attend to all companies sizes in the market, they became fully in Cloud and with a large differential that is to show the geolocation of all equipment, such as desktops and, mainly, notebooks, something unusual in Brazil and the world. The service was gaining more and more resources and today is one of the most complete solutions on the market, with sophisticated IT asset management and no longer just the “HW and SW inventory”. In the concept of the company, “inventory is a photo and management of IT assets is a movie”, this analogy represents the evolution of the system. Another characteristic that differs from the other solutions on the market is the ease of use and training that does not take more than two hours. Usually, the solutions practiced, in addition to having high values, require qualified and

often certified professionals, which makes the costs of the complete solution unfeasible for many companies. This explains the use of good and old excel to do the “control” of IT assets, which represents a “black and white bad photo”. Thinking about this difficulty, Pointware practices a value that fits on the budget of all companies and the service interface is very intuitive, in a short time any minimum knowledge user can use the service. In addition to rapid training, the solution has Help Online and more than 20 short explanatory videos, which further facilitates its use. In addition to control of software licenses, performance analysis, and contracts management, the solution also has an automatic alerts feature, are more than 20 available. If an “HW OUSW” change occurs, low disk space, irregular software, contracts, and guarantees near the maturity, an alert will be registered and sent by email to the asset manager. Easy Inventory has a global scope, it works wherever the Internet reaches, does not depend on a local network. If a company has equipment scattered around the world, the only required prerequisites are: to have Internet access and a browser to access the service. Geolocation allows you to define perimeters where the equipment should be used. Improper use triggers an alarm for the manager, called an electronic fence. This solves many mysteries of equipment that changes from location, city, and country without apparent information. Through Google Maps all equipment will have its physical location shown, with all Google resources (map, relief, zoom). For smartphones and tablets, traceability is detailed, shows the routes (streets, avenues, and km traveled), in addition to the stop times. It is an ideal control for the current home office times, in which geolocation makes a difference. The service is also key to helping in LGPD control as it provides a lot of information to ensure compliance and environmental safety.

The next step will be expanding to Europe.

IB Magazine – I would like you to make a personal presentation. Carlos Luiz Dias dos Santos – I was born in a small town in the interior of Rio de Janeiro, whose name is Itaocara. I grew up in Portela, 3rd District. I studied at Public School. When I moved to Itaocara, I was able to continue my studies, completing the Teacher Training course. I started working at Ita Representações, starting my experience in the IT field. Aloízio Mota de Castro – I was also born in Itaocara, but my childhood and adolescence lived in Goiabal, a rural area of Cambuci (RJ), where I studied until the 3rd grade and the rest I attended in the Funil District. I was always encouraged to study by the family. At 16 I went to study industrial computing at ETFC Campos (now IF). Later I studied computer science at Unicam.

How did you come together to create RCA SISTEMAS? Carlos Luiz – I created a company called CL@ Informática, which sold support, computer equipment and taught courses. That’s when I realized the need for management systems and invited Aloízio to be my partner. We rented a commercial room and hired a secretary. In a small commercial space, began the story that in 2021 celebrates its 20th anniversary. Aloízio - I had graduated from the technical course, when I was hired to work at CL@ Informática, repairing computers, teaching and finally developing systems. For the lay reader, can you explain what systems are? Aloízio - These are applications stored on the computer that aims to capture user information, automating one or more company processes. Carlos Luiz – In other words, it provides entrepreneurs with greater knowledge of their business. Depending on the system, it allows you to better understand how the market is doing. How important are the systems developed to the companies that hire RCA? Aloízio – They are fundamental. They work in sales, invoicing, inventory control, price list, customer registration, cash flow, accounts receivable and payable, purchases, decision-making indicators, reporting, etc. Carlos Luiz – In today’s corporate world, small, medium, and large businesses need to have operating systems in full operation, otherwise, they won’t survive. Does RCA work with any type of company? Carlos Luiz – We have proven excellence in twenty years of

operation in the pharmaceutical industry. Most of our five thousand customers spread across various parts of Brazil are from this sector.
