It’s Not a Service – It’s a Friend at Home! As we age, it can get harder and harder to get out or to manage excursions or activities on our own. iCare Home Health provides home care assistance in Milton and the Mississauga area and is happy to share more information about how our Friend At Home Service can benefit you or your loved one.
Here’s what makes the iCare Home Health Friend At Home program worth exploring: Our program matches an iCare companion with your loved one based on personality preferences. Having things in common and some common interests are a great way to build a fulfilling relationship that help seniors really come to enjoy the visits. Our iCare companions also have the training to fill home support service needs in addition to become a friend. iCare’s Friend at Home caregiver services can be provided on an hourly basis or on as-needed basis. Some of the common activities that seniors like to do with their Friend At Home companion are: Conversation – reading the same book so they can discuss it, watching a TV program together and talking about characters and plots, keeping up to date on world news and events, telling stories about favourite memories. In Home Recreation – playing board games, cards or working on crafting projects. Outings & Trips – trying out a new restaurant, visiting a museum, doing some shopping or going to see a movie. Meal Preparation & Housekeeping – working together to help maintain order and routine in the household. Building Connections – computer help to email or use social media, write letters or make phone calls. Please give us a call to discuss your care needs or visit the iCare Home Health website for more information on our services. iCare Home Health Services Inc., 2275 Upper Middle Rd.
