Romans 11:33-36 33

Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways! 34 "For who has known the mind of the Lord, or who has been his counselor?" 35 "Or who has given a gift to him that he might be repaid?" 36 For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen.

Isaiah 45:5-6 “I am the LORD, and there is no other, besides me there is no God; I equip you, though you do not know me, 6 that people may know, from the rising of the sun and from the west, that there is none besides me; I am the LORD, and there is no other.

- The LORD is the only true God (45:5-7,18,22)


Isaiah 45:18 For thus says the LORD, who created the heavens (he is God!), who formed the earth and made it . . . "I am the LORD, and there is no other.�


Isaiah 45:22 “Turn to me and be saved, all the ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is no other.�

- The LORD is the only true God (45:5-7,18,22) - So He alone should be worshipped (42:5,8)


Isaiah 42:5,8 Thus says God, the LORD, who created the heavens and stretched them out, who spread out the earth and what comes from it, who gives breath to the people on it and spirit to those who walk in it: “I am the LORD; that is my name; my glory I give to no other, nor my praise to carved idols.�

- The LORD is the only true God (45:5-7,18,22) - So He alone should be worshipped (42:5,8)

- This is purpose of our existence (43:7,21)


Isaiah 43:7,21 Everyone who is called by my name, whom I created for my glory, whom I formed and made. the people whom I formed for myself that they might declare my praise.


1 Peter 4:11 Whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies- in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever.


1 Peter 5:11 To him be the dominion forever and ever.

Why do you say that?

Student:

Because He has created us and put us on earth to be glorified in us. And it is surely right that we dedicate our lives to His glory since He is the beginning of it.
