Grants for the international mobility of Catalan artists
The Institut Ramon Llull (IRL), a public body founded with the purpose of promoting Catalan cultural creativity abroad, offers grants for the mobility of artists in the fields of music and the performing arts. The purpose of these grants is to cover the travel, accommodation and equipment transportation expenses of music or performing arts shows and tours outside of Catalonia and contribute to the presence of Catalan cultural creativity abroad. Artists can only apply for this international mobility grant on their own behalf.
27 INSTITUTIONS
The Programme for the Internationalisation of Spanish Culture (PICE) is offered by Acción Cultural Española (AC/E) with the aim of enhancing Spanish culture’s presence abroad, with AC/E acting as facilitator. The programme gives priority to the proposals that are least consolidated in the creative sector, most in need of boosting their presence abroad, and characterised by reflecting more closely on the contemporaneity, creativity and plurality of Spanish culture today. The line of support called PICE Mobility helps foreign cultural organisations to include Spanish artists and professionals in their projects and activities by providing them with financial incentives. Only foreign institutions can propose candidates.
