Synopsis: In 1945, after the Nazi camps were liberated, Neus Català, a feminist and a republican, returns to France, where she hopes to be reunited with her husband, Albert. As she rebuilds her new life as a free woman, she remembers the events that took place the previous year, when, as a prisoner of the Nazis, she was sent to work in a military weapons factory in Czechoslovakia. Neus became the leader of group of women who sabotaged the weapons factory, much to the desperation of the Nazis.
