The Iceland Travel App

Our Iceland Travel app is mobile-based and can be used on your personal phone/tablet. Please note that you can download the app on a total of 3 devices. Extra downloads are available at an extra cost.

To get started, please open the PDF in the attachment you will receive in your travel documents prior to your arrival in Iceland. This attachment includes a QR code that will take you straight to the app with your unique login.

You can also download the app from your iOS or Android app store and use the login information provided to you on the PDF.

Once you are in the app, download your tour map so you can use it offline, either at home to plan your trip, or while you are in Iceland. Let’s get exploring!

• The app includes over 1500 Star Points all over Iceland, plus 35 points of interest with an audio guide! (Escorted tour participants - you will see the specific Star Points along your tour route.) The Star Points include a selection of tours and activities in each area.

• You can conveniently access your travel documents in the app by going into your app profile under the tab titled “Documents” and then selecting the item “Travel Documents,” which also displays your booking number. Please remember that you must be connected on-line to see these, so we recommend downloading those in advance.

• The app includes links to electronic versions of our Iceland Travel Road Book in English, French, Italian, Spanish and Dutch. These links can be found in your app profile under the “Documents” tab >> “Operator details ”

• You can navigate from your current GPS location to your desired Star Point or Point of Interest in the app by clicking “Navigate Me” under the name of the Star Point. The navigation defaults to walking directions, great for a stroll around Reykjavík. You can also switch it to driving directions by selecting the car icon on the top left. Disclaimer: the navigation feature in the app should NOT be used instead of your normal GPS navigation system, such as Google or Apple Maps.

• If you would prefer not to use the App, links to our PDF Roadbook are available in your Travel Documents or in the app in your profile under the tab “Documents” >> “Operator Details.”
