Institute of Contemporary European Studies The Institute of Contemporary European Studies (iCES) seeks to build on the existing pool of research, expertise and contacts within the European Business Schools International group in order to contribute to the debate on contemporary Europe. iCES is organised as a network of activities oriented towards publication in the iCES Annual Review and the iCES Occasional Paper series. This cycle of activity includes: • Two major annual lectures (Jean Monnet Memorial Lecture and the Europe in the World Lecture)

The Institute of Contemporary European Studies is managed by an Executive Team with the support of Research Associates, Distinguished Visiting Fellows, Group Partners and an Advisory Committee.

The Institute of Contemporary European Studies is located on the Campus of Regent's College in the Tuke Building, rooms 301-303.

• iCES Annual European Colloquium In addition to developing links between the EBS International partnership network, European Business Schools International (EBSI), collaborative work is also undertaken with the European Government Business Relations Council and the Senior Experts Group. iCES conducts specialised research in the fields of European business and management, media, broadcasting, cross-national, ethnographic and regional studies. The challenges confronting contemporary Europe are wide-ranging: enlargement, climate change, energy, defence, financial integration, security, migration. The overall purpose of iCES is to engage actively in this debate on the construction of Europe in the 21st century and aim in the process to raise the profile of contemporary Europe and contemporary European studies.
