Wines of the Month
This month’s wines are French! Try either the Château Lamothe Vincent Bordeaux Merlot which is a medium-bodied wine brimming with the dark fruit flavors of black berry, black cherry, blackcurrant, crushed strawberry and liquorice. It has ripe and fine tannins that make it a perfect pairing for grilled meat, pasta and cheeses.
Or The Château Lamothe Vincent Bordeaux Sauvignon Blanc which is a wellbalanced wine filled with pineapple, apricot, exotic fruits, grapefruit, citrus and mineral aromas and flavors. Its acidity and roundness make it the best pairing for seafood and white meat. “My favourite colour is wine.”- unknown On the 9th of September, the Terrace will observe Wiener Schnitzel Day. Schnitzel is a traditional Austrian dish, made by tenderizing a thin slice of veal before it is lightly salted, breaded then deep-fried in clarified butter. You can also celebrate Chocolate Milkshake Day with us on the 24th with a decadent rich chocolate shake topped with a generous dollop of whipped cream!

BHANDINI Bhandini specializes in North Indian cuisine characterized by a variety of flatbreads such as Tandoori roti, chapati and naan as well as curries that usually have thick, moderately spicy and creamy gravies. Many dishes have dried fruits or nuts and dairy products like cream, cottage cheese, ghee (clarified butter) and yogurt, and they play an important role in the creation of both savory and sweet dishes. Try the Chef’s specials of the month for an exploration of North Indian cuisine that is unique to Bhandini.
