GRADUATE YEARBOOK | Welcome

CEO WELCOME: It is with great pleasure that I introduce this December 2014 edition of the ICA Graduate Yearbook. This year it seems we have an even more diverse group of coaches. Not only do they come from many countries around the world, but they have also developed quite unique and interesting coaching models. I truly do think that this diversity, not only in culture but in discourse and learning, is what sets ICA coaches apart. Coaching is a global profession and it is one that has been influenced by many different philosophies and theories, including: - Emotional Intelligence - Cognitive Behavioural Therapy - Organizational Psychology - Appreciative Inquiry - Neuro Linguistic Programming - Positive Psychology - Mindfulness and Spirituality So in addition to acquiring advanced skills in working with other cultures, working virtually and globally, ICA coaches have an incredibly deep understanding of what coaching is and how it developed. This is evidenced by the wide variety of coaching models you see in this yearbook. Each coach has developed their model drawing on their own professional knowledge and expertise and with a view to the specific market they will be working in. The result is a rich mix of coaching approaches and models. I wish all our ICA Coaches well as they take their models out into the world.

Regards, Robyn Logan CEO International Coach Academy
